While browsing the other bartending kits available, I noticed that none of them seemed to be complete as this one: some forgo a muddler, others leave out a bar spoon (or else have spoons either without a functional end, or those awful uncoiled spoons that are unwieldy to handle). Some of them, bafflingly, only have one jigger, which can leave a lot of conversions or guesswork if a cocktail calls for a measurement your jigger doesn't have. This set has just about anything anyone could want for a home bar. The shaker is solidly made and I have not had any issues with it leaking. Its large capacity and wide opening make cleaning it easy - I have had issues with other shakers, particularly store-bought, being difficult to clean due to their size (and I don't even have big hands). The two jiggers will serve just about any measurement you come across in a cocktail recipe. The muddler has a textured toothed silicone head that nicely juices fruit and muddles berries. I like the low profile design of both the corkscrew and the bottle opener. The picks are a nice touch for those looking to add some panache to their presentation. The stirring spoon is nicely balanced, easy to control, and as a bonus, its flat disk end can double as an herb muddler. About the only thing missing is a fine strainer - the provided Hawthorne strainer and built-in martini strainer in the shaker top will do their job at keeping out muddled fruit wedges, berries, or ice, but pulp from lemon or orange as well as small seeds can still sneak through. For those like me who like to experiment with blended fruit drinks and don't want kiwi or strawberry seeds ending up in their teeth, a fine mesh strainer will complete this bar kit nicely (I use RSVP Endurance Conical Strainer, 3" ). Overall I am very satisfied with this kit. High quality and good utility. Perfect for a home bar, and the container it's shipped in would make a stylish gift.

After limping along with crappy bartending starter gear from the supermarket for a few years, I decided to treat myself to an expanded collection and get a little more serious about making cocktails for friends and family. Part of that was getting a Boston Shaker with a Hawthorne Strainer, and I was also interested in getting a jigger to replace the old glass measuring cup I'd been using. There are obviously a ton of sets available on Amazon right now, a lot of them drawing from the same handful of Chinese/Taiwanese manufacturing setups, most likely. Brands need to differentiate themselves on the little things: appearance, quality of life features, and customer service. I'm really pleased with my choice to go with Mixology & Craft's set, because they really knock all three of those things out of the park. The actual shaker set and jigger are understated, but lovely. The little flipbook of recipes with humorous anecdotes and pictures and the carrying tube are small, but thoughtful, touches. Initially, I received a jigger without internal measurements, but after talking to their customer service folks, I received a new one almost immediately with no questions asked. Color me impressed! The new jigger's well-marked and just as snazzy-looking as the last, to boot! If you're looking for a great mix of affordability and quality, this is an excellent set to improve your home bar with.

Do you work in a bar? Are you tired of coworker's 'borrowing' your tools and not returning them or losing them? I buy good bar tools to make my life easier. I invest in my craft. Some coworkers 'run what they brung' or grab from what they think are community tools. Most of the time, stainless mixology tools are the norm so I went with copper. The shakers tins work fine. The big one is great, but the small one could be a little bigger. I have big hands and prefer a shallow but tight seal so I can fit more into a single shaken batch. The strainer is really nice. Spring isn't stretched out then crammed in...each spiral sits very close to the next so it filters out most all of the larger particles. The jigger didn't see much action, but the narrow mouth helps control the splash when you're in a rush. The tongs are functional, but minimal. I'd like to see them improved a bit but they haven't failed me so far, they're just require a little more effort when picking up a smaller garnish. The rest of the tools are ok. Great set for volume or craft bartending if you're looking for a complete set to get started with. I eventually replaced the short tin with a slightly larger one.

I'm so impressed with this product. You can tell it was well planned and executed. The quality it great and has everything you'd need plus some. I really like the recipe booklet that came with it as an added bonus and the container it came in was a cute idea. It looks like the packaging of a nice bottle of liquor. The items wash well and it's easy to put in my bag and go. The price was perfect. I am so happy and would definitely recommend.

Packaging could be better but the pieces appear to be of good quality.

I’m a bartender and ordered this to get on my birthday for myself because I’m currently out of town for a while and had none of my own tools to make celebratory drinks! This was PERFECT! The strainer is super durable and amazing quality. I love the two cup, separated, shakers (just like I use in the bar) and it even comes with a 1 oz/2oz jigger and the cutest little recipe book of classic cocktails for my non-bartender friends to learn with! The box/carrying case is awesome - they all stack together almost like Matryoshka dolls into the heavy duty tube it was cased in. This is a great gift for beginners and easy to store away for those who like to whip out drinks when guests come over. I did a little research before ordering and I’m glad I spent a little more money for this product. The all metal shakers do make your hands super cold, but the pain all goes away after your shooter or cocktail, of course. The cups are easy to separate and again, the stainer is one of the most durable I have ever used. I will definitely purchase again for gifts!

Update: I thought I would be returning this product but instead the seller reached out to me and did everything in his power to make me happy. He sent me tins with next day delievery so I could try them out and would not stop until I was completely satisfied even though I told him it wasn’t necessary. Excellent customer service. & the new tins are perfect! Original: So i literally just got this product a few minutes ago and naturally my first instinct as a bartender was so check the seal on the tins. The tins literally do not lock. I thought maybe if I tried again with some liquid inside they might lock. No luck. If you are a bartender I DO NOT recommend using these tins. You & your guests will be wearing your cocktail if you have to do a one handed shake. My other issue with this set is the jigger. It says it is a 2/1 jigger. It’s more like a 1.5/1. Luckily at my job, we pour 1.5 so I don’t really care but it bothers me. I bought two sets of tins and jiggers, this set & another that had a perfect jigger and tins that actually sealed (the rose gold items in my video), so I made a video comparison. You can see my rose gold tins have a great seal and the rose gold jigger actually holds two ounces. I gave two stars only because I like how tight the coils are on the strainer. Will be returning.

I'm no cocktail connoisseur but I can appreciate a well-made homemade cocktail. This sleek and high-quality Boston shaker has truly elevated my cocktail-making experience. I got this for my boyfriend as a birthday gift and he absolutely loved it! He originally asked for a shaker cup, but it was so much more than he wanted (at such a fantastic price for me)! Upon opening we were thrilled with the presentation and how much they could fit into such a crafty container! We are currently enjoying our cocktails from the comfort of our own home, spending no money compared to the price of going out to a bar.. cause well.. we essentially have one here now! To top it off, the customer service has been phenomenal! This has been the first time that a Buisness had responded with an actual person messaging you to see if YOU RECEIVED the package, and how you were liking it. Usually, i recieve an email acouple weeks later asking me to write a review on the product. This was different in so many ways. Kate emailed asking if we had recieved it yet, (saying it should come at some point today) and explaining the quality of the brand but mentioning that if there were any manufacturing errors (because that happens, we're only human after all) to email her and that they would be more than happy to make sure that we were satisfied with our product. Emailing back, not really expecting a response, i told them we had not received it yet and that id email back when we did. Not kidding when I say not only did this product come WAYY earlier than Amazon had told me (literally a week to a month earlier), but it probably came 30 minutes MAX after I had emailed her back. Following up to my last email, Kate replied that the pandemic might slow things down, (which was expected) but assured me again that if I was dissatisfied they would make sure I felt the opposite. Usually, I never write reviews. Actually, this is probably my first review on a product EVER. But we were so pleasantly surprised with how amazing the 14 piece set is, and how well it works. Me, myself, am thrilled with the customer service which is a selling point for me. If I were to recommend a product to my family and friends, this would be it, strictly based on the product itself, as well as knowing if I have any issues at all with said product, that all I have to do is reach out and they will be helpful. Amazing. 10/10

I've always wanted a Boston style shaker kit and both I and my wife liked the aesthetic look of this rose gold set. The shaker kit has been fantastic. It holds enough to make 4 drinks at a time and the cups fit together without any leakage, while still being easy to get apart. The added accessories are all of good quality and very useful. The only missing piece is a nice display holder to show off the kit. Positives: - Good capacity - Beautiful finish - Zero leakage - All the accessories you could need Negatives: - Finish is starting to wear around the edge of the smaller cup, but that is to be expected.

Great set! I had one that just had the "strainer" with holes at the top when you pour vs. this with an actual strainer, game changer! Plus, this lid opens flawlessly unlike the other ones where with the ice after shaking you could never get the top piece off - like I glued it on! It gathers back into the storage container nicely. Happy with my purchase and worked well on a dirty martini!
