I've never experienced a leak or any problems from using these filters and I do replace them every six months as recommended. Great filters. These are legitimate Samsung filters, so there's no reason they shouldn't be good. Especially for the price! Installation is kind of annoying, took me about 15 minutes from start to finish. I had to use a pair of pliers to grip the old filter and twist to get it unlocked. There was obviously so much gunk built up in there that I couldn't get it untwisted by hand. Then I tried installing the new filter, but the water pressure made it impossible, so I went ahead and shut off the water supply to the house. With the water supply off, installing the new filter was easy. It just popped right in and locked in place. I turned the water supply back on and emptied out about 3 gallons of water as instructed. That part was very boring, I just kept filling and dumping jugs. I haven't conducted a water quality test of the tap water vs the filtered water, but just from the taste alone, it seems like the filter is working. Or maybe it's a placebo effect, who knows haha. Depending on how often you use your water dispenser, they last up to 6 months. I drink A LOT of water every day, and I let the last filter go the full 6 months before changing. That's probably why it was so hard to remove, because they were totally filled with pollutants at that point. You can also tell when they need to be changed because the water comes out a lot slower. I've had this fridge for years and we've been through tons of these filters. I took off a star because I honestly think they cost way too much. It's just a water filter! Why does it need to cost almost $50? There was one time these were $35 on Amazon, and I thought that was a great deal...but of course now the price has gone back up. Anyway, these are good and they work, so go ahead and get them if you need new filters. I've read horror stories from people buying the off-brand water filters and it breaking and flooding the house, so I'm gonna stick to the Samsung brand.

Works great with the Samsung RF4287HA., So far no leakage, fits perfect, just plug and twist and instructions are okay.

This filter fits my refrigerator. The price was reasonable and I did a subscription so the price won’t go up and will ship every six months. I bought one from a different company 6 months ago that went out. Their price went up $20 since the last time I bought it. Lesson learned. Water clarity is good. It came in two days.

I have a Samsung four door refrigerator. It is able to give Ice and water from the door. It uses the carbon block filter for clean water. I have been using these filters for several years now. I always buy the genuine filters made by Samsung for my refrigerator. It says the filter should last for 6 months, however that depends how much they are used. Mine usually last me 5 months. They are easy to install and uninstall in the refrigerator. I get good clean water and ice with them. I am very satisfied with them. I would recommend them to anyone who has a Samsung refrigerator, which may give you water and ice. These filters come for different kinds of Samsung Refrigerators. This particular one fit mine.
