It works for my incessant nightly mind-chatter. Have I found hope for sleep??
I can’t sleep. Just can’t. If you’re here, you might be the same. I’ve taken Gaba, Kava, sleepy tea, prescriptions, camomile, melatonin, valerian root, etc All of these things work in some fashion when you find the right one. I have taken this for 3 or 4 days so far, when I do, the calmness settles in and when I lay down (tv on, the unhealthy habits still in play, just in case) and I actually feel the long forgotten wave of (what I believe is the feeling of sleepiness) come over me. It gets better, I fall asleep and I sleep through the night I got 10 hrs at least twice during my trial! Yes yes, I too am someone who doesn’t typically write reviews but I felt compelled here bc I am grateful, so grateful, when I find something that works. Now, some things you may want to know: - it says lozenge, but it’s only lozenge-esque. It more like a harder version of those chewable vitamin cs. I have been crunching them up a bit, then letting them dissolve. The taste is fine, good even. A very mild citrus flavor. - my “nature” of being: I’m tired and wired. I propel through my days with a baseline of anxiety that doesn’t typically bother me bc it’s what I know. But it doesn’t know how to shut off on its own. I cherish the time by myself at night, and I don’t usually feel that my body sends my brain the tired chemicals it needs to switch gears. So i sit waiting, and knowing I’m screwing myself for tomorrow but too apprehensive to even try to lay in the dark and face 5 hrs of “trying”‘to sleep as this attempt often leads to heart racing and more anxiety. Then I feel like I gotta get up and distract myself til I can restart the process. So I just put the tv on until it’s unreasonably late and pray sleep becomes me. Then I’m so exhausted the next day, I feel more spaced out wired in an on edge way that makes it really, really hard for me to relax enough to fall asleep. That’s where gaba comes in for me. It first takes care of that gyration inside of me and once that is at bay, it’s like only then, once the veil is lifted, can I feel the body telling me it’s tired. Summary version: my relative inability to calm down my nervous system at the end of the day is what keep me up. this brings that baseline anxiety down enough for me to relax and sleep. I hope and pray this will have the same effect with extended and routine use, but I don’t know that. However, I do usually take Gaba (or one of the other elixirs) to help me sleep and have been doing so for a while. So if there was a tolerance to be built, I would surely have one. I had been taken a well known vitamin brand of gaba in the orange bottle. It was hit or miss, to the point where I assumed it was just placebo when it worked. (I’m all for placebo, but a reliable placebo would be better!) Anyway, give this a chance if you too are a nut job who can easily stay up til 5am. It is certainly worth, at least the try. Good luck!

Helped Me Sleep
Needed some help sleeping through the night that didn't affect my natural serotonin. Worked great last night.

Haven't slept without this in years
Backstory: a couple years ago I met a unicorn. Real life, in the flesh, only it looked more like a prescribing psychiatrist who strongly advocated for healthy lifestyle choices and supplements before jumping to medication. She suggested these to just give a bit of natural anxiety support throughout the day, so I found myself pushing the second one back later and later so I could have the support for coming down after a stressful day. I don't know when I started, but it soon became an ingrained part of my winding-down-for-bed routine and I honestly don't know what I would do without it. These give fast, gentle anxiety support. That loosening in your chest, relaxing your jaw, wow-my-forehead-was-clenched feeling. We use them for coming down from panic attacks, warding off anxiety (especially anxiety that makes us irritable), sleeping, you name it. They are integral to our routines. I personally love the orange flavor, it's very subtle. I'm a first time mom with sparkling brand new hormonal insomnia and postpartum anxiety that could write its own horror novel, and these are still the support I can't be without. The ONLY con: they are not coated so they are very susceptible to humidity and will disintegrate quickly. Keep them in the original bottle with the cotton and you're golden. Just know that for travel you're going to have to make room for the entire bottle or find a similar way to transport them. You can't just throw them in a plastic bag. Trust me.

Good for mild anxiety
Over the last few years, I have struggled with a developing anxiety disorder. It gets better and worse depending on what's going on in my life and how well I'm keeping up with the habits and routines that help me feel steady: sometimes it's just this constant fear in the background (mildly worrisome but manageable) and sometimes it's so strong and overwhelming that it takes me days to recover from a panic attack. This product will not cure your anxiety forever. It has taken the practice of calming habits and steady routines, self instruction of cognitive behavioral therapy, a strong support system and a lot of patience and hard work to get to a place where I feel like I can keep my anxiety for the most part in check. But if you use these lozenges at the right time, they can help. This is what I do: 1. When I feel myself beginning to become mildly anxious, and it seems like it's just starting to ramp up into something worse, I take two Bach Rescue Remedy Pastilles Black Currant, 1.7 oz ( 2 Pack) and chew on them. For the entirety of the time I'm chewing on these pastilles, I step away from whatever is going on and practice square breathing. I tell myself that I will sit there, focusing on my breathing and waiting for the pastilles to fully dissolve, before I make any rash decisions. Usually, this is enough to calm myself down so that I can consider my options rationally, or sometimes I will take two more pastilles and continue the exercise a second time. 2. If the rescue pastilles are not enough, and I can still feel my anxiety building up to the point of near-panic, I remove myself from the situation and tell someone I trust that I might be near a panic attack, and then I take one of these Gaba Calm lozenges. These take some time to dissolve under your tongue, so I can use that time to talk to someone or do square breathing again. It takes a few moments for me to feel the effects, but often it's enough that I can calm myself back down before things get ugly. 3. If the anxiety develops beyond this point, it usually means I'm going to have to deal with a full-blown anxiety attack, so I ask for help and get ready to weather the storm. Now, I'm obviously not a doctor and can't say for certain what will or won't work for you. I can only speak from my own experience with anxiety. However, following these steps has enabled me to respond to any anxiety I might have BEFORE it builds up to something debilitating, and these products have allowed me to step back into my day-to-day life knowing that I can take steps to take care of myself, instead of always needing to rely on other people (which in and of itself can be a source of anxiety). For someone who cannot afford regular therapy or frequent trips to the doctor, these are very helpful.

The seller doesn't seem genuine. Two stickers are attached hiding the expity date purposely. Upon peeling, the inner paper layer gets lost. The number provided on the sticker is not working.
