Cheapest Safety Chain I Could Find
Refurbishing a boat trailer and picked this up to replace the old, rusty chain. Works perfectly and was the best price with the free shipping. It is plenty of chain for the twelve-foot aluminum boat being carried on the trailer. I got everything here - winch, lights, hubs, tires/wheel combos, etc. It was all a little cheaper here compared to the "Freight" store where I thought it would be cheaper. Go figure...

Nice chain, but a little too small for my needs!
I didn't purchase this chain to use as a trailer-safety-chain. I keep chains like this on my compact backhoe for use around my property. They are great for skidding small logs. This chain is a little smaller than I thought, but I will keep it and use it until the hooks bend &/or the chain snaps. Next time, I'll order a little stronger & a little longer chain. If I were to use this as trailer tow safety chain, I would only use it for something small like a pop-up camper, or 12 ft boat.

Works for multiple purposes. I am a mechanic and I use to to lift engines and transmissions. The hooks make it very easy to do so. This is a very sturdy chain.

Where's the 48 inches?
Nice little chain that will get my job done but sizing is wrong. My chain length is only 40"; The S-Hooks make the overall length only 46" long still short of the advertised four feet.
