I this one susceptible to alternator whine?** A: I installed on a 2008 Goldwing and the alternator whine is terrible. First tried using the power and ground from the 12V adapter, then tried running power and ground straight from the battery. Whine remained, making the device worthless. **Q: Does it need constant power or can you use switched power. If it’s using switched power will I have to pair every time?** A: With switched power, it does not require to be paired more than once **Q: Came in a bag with zero paperwork or instructions. Wiring looks dirt simple-wonder just what's involved in pairing to the phone?** A: Install the module and get the phone ready to accept a bluetooth device. turn the key and you should see it come up on the device list. Accept it for pairing. Should pair.
