Really keeps your medication cool for long periods of time
This device really works. I traveled to Europe last October, but my connections inside the U.S. got us delayed. Therefore, the total travel time extended to almost 15 hours. When I finally arrived at my hotel and was able to open the canister, the medicine was as cold as when I first put it in my backpack. I was so thankful. Additionally, I did not have any problems with TSA or European customs. I simply pulled it out from my backpack and put it in a tray. No problems whatsoever. The bright blue color also helped me distinguish it from the other items in my bags. The design and size are appropriate for the purpose of carrying medicines that need to be cold. I read other reviews where the users did not freeze the inside element that is supposed to be frozen separately for eight hours. They took the whole device and put it in the freezer resulting in the inside bottle not being frozen. I felt the written instructions and drawings for proper cooling are well written to avoid this problem. I totally recommend this item to keep your medicine cold during long periods of travel. Just read the instructions and review the drawings carefully.

Great Option for Travel
Purchased this and a similar bottle from another brand, and this one seemed to be higher quality and performed exactly as expected. Very easy to use and the temperature gage brings peace of mind (great design), and I've used it for two trips so far with no issues. Seems to be durable. Would suggest this product for anyone who needs to travel with refrigerated medication. (Note: I bought a neoprene sleeve for the bottle which is under $10 and helps with temperature regulation while also adding a layer of protection)

Works well
I use it for dupixent. I do not store it in freezer like it says. It does perfectly fit most tumblers, I use one with a screw lid. Depending on temp and where I keep it IT does stay frozen a long time. It is an option that should be considered if you have read this far. I did not purchase anything but this but would of if this was not working out but it did...will buy again if I need to....WORTH EVERY PENNY

Works great for eye drops that need to be refrigerated!
I needed something to keep my eye drops cold and I found out that these thungs exist, which is perfect. It may be advertised for insulin, but it sure could work for anything you need to keep refrigerated. Anyways, the temperature display is a really nice feature and almost a must-have for this type of stuff, so that is good. It has been a week now and I have had zero problems with the insulation of the bottle or the temperature display not working. As far as I have tested, it keeps cool under 38 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 12 hours. During those 12 hours, it has been in an A/C cooled area, in a hot car for a moment, and walking outside in the hot sun for a bit. Overall, this does the job if you need to keep something fairly small refrigerated on-the-go. It is a bit pricey IMO, but at least it seems to be of good quality and it comes with everything you need.

Good for pens, not vials or cartridges
Fine for insulin pens but vials or cartridges for insulin pumps don't work great in here. Tried wrapping the cartridge in a paper towel but still got way too cold against the ice pack which takes up 2/3 the room inside the cooler. Wish someone would design a long lasting double vacuum for other types of diabetic medicine because as far as I can tell it doesn't exist in the market.

Love it!
Love this! It kept my meds under 40 degrees during our 13 hours of traveling. There were no issues going through security at the airport (I notified TSA I had liquid prescription meds and they didn't even take it out of my bag). I loved the peace of mind knowing what the internal temp was during my trip with the thermostat lid and that I could fill the emergency back up insert with ice water if I needed to. However, the main freezer insert was still frozen after 13 hrs. and the internal temp only changed about 4 degrees. Also love that the thermostat doesn't require batteries, so I can always rely on it working. Some of the others I looked at were battery powered, but lacked the ability to replace or charge the batteries.... resulting in a cooler with limited life. This one should last forever. I highly recommend it.

This is great! Never knew what I was missing.
never knew what I was missing. This little item is great. The ice pack makes this easy to store in my top desk drawer, rather than using the old school pouch that you have to put in the fridge. Allows for privacy while keepings your meds at the proper temperature.

Design deficiencies & doesn't work
Several aspects about this product make it not ready for market: 1. It doesn't work. Won't keep medications cold for more than an hour or so with ambient temperature of 72 degrees F -- even using the frozen gel pack. Most definitely cannot keep medications frozen. Within moments of removing the unit from the freezer with frozen medications, the interior temperature rises above freezing and within an hour or so it's at ambient temperatures. 2. The temperature display is battery powered -- but there is no provision to change the battery. So you use it for a few months or maybe even years and then the display dies. Built-in obsolescence. Of course, if the unit doesn't work in the first place (see above), the chances of using it until the battery fails are pretty slim. 3. There is no way to shift the display between Celsius and Fahrenheit. If this is supposed to be an international product, it doesn't adequately serve a huge portion of the world market who uses the latter. This thing is pretty much a boat anchor. Totally wasted my money on it and ruined a batch of medication on a road trip. There has got to be better technology than this out there. The above being said, the company voluntarily issued a full refund for the price of the unit. Kudos to KEK for their commitment to customer satisfaction.
