Review: This puppy has some serious flex. I installed mine in a .75cft sealed box with somewhere around 450w rms going into it. This thing can get low, crazy low, most subs drop off on songs like "bring me to life" the Timpani 1500 gives you every last herz either heard or felt. Note, the spider is very stiff out of the box and some break-in time will be necessary for the subs full potential to be realized. Follow up, I built a 1.5 cubic foot box for the Timpano 10 and tuned it to 33hz. Massive improvement over the prefab sealed box, the transient response and volume are drastically improved, it gets insanely loud for a 10, most people would never guess I only have a single 10 in the trunk. There is much more sub here than the price would suggest, definitely recommend.
Review: These are some pretty serious subs. Sound great and have a nice punch. So far mine have taken quite a bit of abuse and they’re taking it well.
