The waist is a little big on him but that's okay. It has a drawstring to keep them up. They are a good weight for winter, very soft inside, and we haven't seen any pilling in them. This fabric seems like classic sweatpants fabric instead of that plastic stuff a lot of the newer sweatpants are made of. I like that these don't have elastic around the ankles so he can wear them to school if he wants. They look fine to wear out of the house. The only thing I didn't like was that the set I got had a pair of red pants, in the pictures it looked red to me anyways, but when I got them they were more of a rusty red orange than regular red.

Purchased these for my son who was growing out of his other pants. These pants are so soft and comfortable for him the fleece and fabric is so comfortable, they fit so well. The pockets they have are a little small, and he wishes they were a bit bigger so he could fit his phone. The stretching is good, it's able to comfortably while being able to stretch to accommodate his body.
