If you're looking for a durable pen for home or field use, this pen will work well. It's not heavy or feather light and it grippy under dry or lightly damp conditions. It works well with Rite-in-the-rain paper or any paper for that matter. It's a mechanical pencil that takes standard lead refills. The eraser is something to be desired but I cross out a lot anyways when scratching down thoughts in a notebook. Not for carpentry, mechanical pencils and rough wood are not good friends, but for paper this will work. And if you drop it, its shiny, heavy and easy to stop and won't travel far and it will work afterwards. Highly recommended. Get 2 if you can.

This mechanical pencil has a comfortable length. The stainless steel barrel gives it a solid feel, and the knurled portion of the barrel ensures a secure grip. An eraser is underneath the cap. Recommended.

We've been extremely satisfied with these pencils. My kids needed new pencils for school and specifically wanted some without rubber grips as they tend to attract dirt and eventually break off. These checked all the boxes for us. They have functioned very well for us and all my kids keep telling me how much they like them!

Love these mechanical pencils from Zebra. The case is sturdy & feels good in your hand. The extra fine lead leave your writing clean & crisp. The only down side is that the tip easily damages if you accidentally drop it, then you can’t write with it anymore. Still my go to pencil though.

I use a pencil a lot at work. I love this brand. This is my first metal one, all the others were the plastic. I think the metal one is a better quality. I purchased the pencil and refill lead, for a great price. I prefer the .07 lead size. The .05 is a bit to thin for my heavy writing hand. The lead comes out smoothly.

The Zebra staple. It's a very basic pencil, but it's robust and feels smooth. Great knurling and a minimal design. Only improvement would be an all metal interior. The F-710 was prone to the black plastic around the clicker breaking, so was replaced with steel, but it remains to be seen whether this has a similar issue.

This is my favorite mechanical pencil to use. It has a nice sturdy feel but it's not too heavy and it feels really good in your hand. It looks really nice.

Stabiler Druckbleistift. Nachdem mir regelmässig Druckbleistifte von Faber Castell und Konsorten aus Kunststoff in der Hosentasche durchgebrochen sind, musste jetzt mal was aus Edelstahl her. Liegt super in der Hand, wie auch die Kulis von Zebra. Wenn das Innenleben lange hält, wird das vielleicht der letzte Druckbleistift sein, den ich kaufen muss.

I am pleasantly surprised with this mechanical pencil. First it is very affordable for a Rotring and secondly it is very nicely built and easy to hold. It gives the impression of solidity.

La mina se agarra bastante firme a una distancia ideal, que permite escribir sin que se rompa pero si que sea muy cerca.

All metal pencil. Bought two of them to go in two EDC bags, to go with Zebra F701 Ballpoint Pens. Go great together, all metal, strong writes/draws well, feels good in the hand, not too heavy.

1. Almost 0 tip wobble, 2. Knurling is perfect, 3. Build quality is very sturdy, the only areas that are plastic are the internal tube (which holds the extra leads) and the threads, 4. The weight is well balanced and the COG is a bit above the knurling which is good enough, 5. The click is satisfying but I have had the lead failing at being pushed out a few times, 6. The eraser housing is a tiny bit weak if compared to a few others. Won't say it's value for money, but if you want a pencil for a few years atleast, this is a good one. Been a few days using it for note taking and a bit of sketching, I'll edit the review if something comes up and I feel like it'll help.
