Impressive power, simple to operate, easy to carry, good value.
Summary. For a budget-priced pocket torch, this is impressive. Description. Looks and feels good quality. Light enough and small enough to carry in a trouser or jacket pocket - weight 350g (just over 12 ounces), length 18cm (7”). . Uses a single CREE XHP70.2 chip – one of the best in its class. The torch doesn’t have a reflector; instead, it uses a fish-eye lens to focus the beam. The lens does rattle in its mount a bit, but it does the job perfectly well. A zoom feature (simply slide the head back or forward by up to 1.5cm) allows you to control the width of the beam; at full width, the beam has a nicely focused circular hotspot, with peripheral spillage providing useful all-round illumination. Narrowing the beam using the zoom function leads to considerable distortion, but I doubt that it’s a feature that many will need or use. Range, or throw is difficult to define - different people have different eyesight, different sensitivities and different requirements. With this torch, at full power, trees, animals, objects and people are clearly and brightly illuminated at 100 yards. IMHO, in terms of seeing what you’re searching for, 200 yards is about the functional limit – but people will be able to see your torch from much further away. Charging. Very easy: plug in the included UBS-C cable, or plug in any USB-C cable such as one that you use to charge an Android phone. Switch on-off etc: To switch on, press the on-off button for 2 seconds – the torch automatically opens at full power. To switch off, you can either hold the on-off button for 2 seconds and the torch switches off. Or, click through the various modes using single short presses - one press reduces to medium power, one more short press reduces to low power; one more to rapid (and very bright) strobe; one more to low-speed strobe; next press is off. Whichever way you close down, the torch will always switch on at max power. There is much to like about this small torch, but I do have one gripe. Shadowhawk, like many other Chinse torch suppliers, seem unable to resist telling absolute whoppers about the alleged lumen output and beam length of their torches. A quick glance at CREE’s web site will tell you that the maximum output of a XHP70.2 chip is 4,140 lumens – which will be considerably reduced by the absence of a reflector. So why claim 500,000 lumens, when that’s such obvious nonsense? All that does is make me (and presumably many other people) distrust every claim that Shadowhawk make. Do all Chinse manufacturers lie about their products? What about Chinese cars? Despite Shadowhawk’s dodgy technical data, this is still an impressive piece of kit. At the current ‘Limited Time Deal’ offer it's very good value, especially if you buy two and enjoy a 20% additional discount. Based on current price and actual performance, I'd rate this as a 5-star torch.

Great torch. Brilliant beam. Excellent value.
I’ve bought 3 of these over a year or so. One for my car (there are no street lights in the country! Who knew.) which has been very useful. One for home, just in case it’s needed and one I keep abroad. The light is fantastic for such a reasonably sized torch. It’s handy having the defensive edge to the light, hopefully I will never need it. But I can imagine it would make a mess of someone’s face if it weee needed. Overall a great buy and great value. A perfect gift. Everyone should have one.

Legendary
I bought this Shadowhawk torch thinking it would just brighten up the shed. Instead, I’ve somehow ended up with a handheld lighthouse. This thing is so bright I’m pretty sure I signalled aircraft by accident. One click and the entire garden lit up like I was filming a crime documentary. The beam reaches so far I started checking if I could see my future. It’s sturdy too — feels like it could survive being launched at a wall during a spider emergency. Battery life is great, the zoom feature is weirdly satisfying, and it makes every other torch I own look like a sad candle from a school nativity play. If you want a light that turns night into day and makes you feel unnecessarily powerful, this is the one.

Bright Enough to Annoy the Neighbours, but the Math is Off
The Experience I’ll be honest, the "500,000 lumens" claim on the box made me laugh. For context, a car headlight is usually around 3,000. If this actually put out half a million lumens, I’d be able to see into the next county and probably melt the casing in my hand. That said, once you get past the obvious marketing exaggeration, it’s actually a very decent torch for the money. I used this for a late-night walk in the woods behind my house, and it certainly does the job. It feels heavy and solid, like a proper bit of kit rather than a plastic toy. The zoom function is useful; you can pull the head out to focus the light into a tight square beam that travels incredibly far, or push it back for a wide flood that lights up the whole path. It’s significantly brighter than any standard flashlight I’ve owned before, even if it doesn't quite meet the impossible numbers in the description. The build is rugged enough that I wasn't worried about dropping it on the trail. It’s got some weight to it, which I like, though it might be a bit bulky if you’re looking for something to keep in a pocket. Pros & Cons Pro: Serious Brightness. Marketing aside, it is impressively powerful. It turns a pitch-black garden into daylight easily. Pro: USB-C Charging. I love that I don't have to hunt for a specific cable. It charges off the same lead as my phone, and the little digital display shows exactly how much battery percentage is left. Pro: Solid Build. It’s made of aluminium and feels like it could take a real beating. It also has a "tactical" edge on the front, which seems sturdy enough. Con: The Lumen Claim. It’s clearly not 500,000 lumens. It’s more likely around 3,000 to 4,000. It’s plenty bright, but the fake numbers feel a bit dodgy. Con: Gets Toasty. If you leave it on the highest setting for more than ten minutes, the head of the torch gets quite warm. Not enough to burn you, but definitely noticeable. Final Verdict If you want a powerful, rechargeable torch for dog walking or keeping in the car for emergencies, this is a great buy. Just don't expect it to actually have the power of a lighthouse. It’s a solid, bright, and dependable tool as long as you ignore the over-the-top specs.

Brilliant product, fantastic price
This torch is fantastic! It feels very well built out of metal, fits comfortably in my hand and feels durable and is a good weight. The brightness is astounding and the zoom design allows you to narrow the beam to light a specific area. I like that you can replace the battery either with another rechargeable one, or use the adapter and use ordinary batteries instead so is versatile and future proof. Overall, I feel it is excellent value for money.

Excellent LED torch. Bright and functional.
This is a fantastic rechargeable LED torch. It's presented in a professional looking box with a nice finish to it. This makes it perfect as a gift or for storing it in when not in use, although being cardboard it isn't of use to carry it around in. Unlike other torches, the power supply options are kept simple on this. It has a nice big 5000mAh 21700 battery at its heart and it's rechargeable via any usb-c cable. There is a cable included, but you can use virtually any cable, such as a phone one. This has a nice metal feel to it, without being too heavy. There's a wrist strap to stop you accidentally dropping it, which can be taken off or put back on. Operation is quite simple. There's a waterprood switch that has to be held down for 3 seconds to switch it on. This 3 second wait is a positive, since I'm always accidentally switching my other torches on. A switch where your thumb goes is also far better than one with the switch on the end. The torch is nice and bright, but can be dimmed or put in flashing modes. The telescopic spot adjuster works well and can zoom in or out to focus the torch wider or more focussed to a spot. Like with all modern LEDs, this has an image of the LED when focussed to a spot. Overall, this is definitely a good LED torch that will get plenty of use over the winter months and darker nights.

Complete letdown!
Only needed the torch for going to the bottom of garden in the dark. I didn’t notice a red light alerting me to the fact it needed recharging. Then discovered it wouldn’t recharge if you don’t catch it in time. The price of a replacement “rechargeable “ battery is near on 20.00! More than the cost of the torch. I thought the whole point of a rechargeable battery was to avoid this situation. My iPhone, toothbrush are all rechargeable even if they run out of juice entirely. I might as well have bought a cheap torch with regular batteries. Feel robbed to be honest.

The torch is undoubtedly value for money for the brightness and additional ability.
You will definitely get the brightness above target with the price. I own many torches and this does stand out from the rest. Its also a c-type powerbank too and does charge reasonably quick. (Not every device like tablets will fully charge so don't expect longevity there). I use flash for peering rafio antennas for line-of-site so I have to first hold the power button down for 3 seconds and press 3 more times to get the mode I want. Slightly faffy (for me). The brightest mode is first. The beam is very warm to the skin but its not going to burn anything in close proximity so safe if in a bag left on. The light is clearly PWM to save battery/lamp life but i wouldn't be advised to leave on full for too long if you can help it. Its too bright for night walking in high mode unless that's what your into. This can also flood rivers when you point it at the surface and shows a glowy tinge to the bottom. Its heavy enough to cause someone damage if thrown or struck but light enough to hold on a long journey, its not pocket size but back pocket standing up is comfortable. Low mode seems to go forever I got bored trying to empty battery out. The price is above level for this quality and I can probably see why some buyers are put-off from it. I have torches 4x times the price that isn't as bright or has a powerbank on-board. If you have read this review you will know im hinting for you to buy it, but don't expect this torch to put a ring on the moon. If you have "led lenser X21R" money, then you will have helicopter searchlight capabilities.

Prodotto eccellente e assistenza post-vendita impeccabile!
Consigliatissimi!
