Great Tool !!! Lubricate it first as they Recommend.
Used this tool to put some Trijicon "Bright and Tough" (low profile vs Trijicon's HD higher profile) night sights on my Glock 43 and it worked out great. The tool is very well made and a great deal for the money. For some reason you have to go online and print out the "must have" instructions for this tool, even though it's only one page so I think they should have the printed out instructions in the box when you open it! There is also a useful YouTube video online you should watch also, along with printing out the instructions, since the instructions add a lot of advise not in the video. IMPORTANT : you really should (unlike me) put a drop of lubricating oil on all the threaded bolts on this unit (the two on either side of it and the one on top, as they suggest, and the tool even show's a little Oil Can on these area to show you that you should lubricate it. I didn't, until after I used the tool and I noticed that it was a little hard to turn these bolts. After using the tool, I lubricated all these points and the bolts turned MUCH EASIER. Another good tip (from Trijicon) is to put the new Rear Sight in the freezer for a while so that the metal shrinks a little to make it easier to push. Another tip: I noticed that my original Glock sites were set a little to the right of Center, but when I shot the Gun it was "Dead Nuts" perfect right and left. It seems that Glocks tend to shoot to the left, for most people, because of the trigger pull, so by putting the Rear Sight "slightly" to the right of center will help your Glock shoot more to the Center.

Works like a dream.
I heard these horror stories about how difficult changing sights on the Springfield Hell at was. So I shopped around for a sight pusher, and decided on this. I've had good luck with products from this company. Input a little gun oil on the sight about an hour in advanced, locked the slide into this very adjustable tool and started twisting. The sight came right out. I also used it to install the new sight. Worked like a dream! Something you should know is that you can use a socket wrench on this...it's the only one I found that you can. It takes the same size socket as my lawn mower spark plug.

It works okay and good value for price.
System works there are a few short coming with this sight vise but once you understand its short comings and the work arounds the vise works well.******.Use your smarts phone and down load info of tool on back of box too NcSTAR.com view video of removal/install and laugh. How to use tool: De-grease and clean all screws mine had metal shaving and dirt, must have been dropped on floor in China! ******ALSO THE BASE PLATFORM HAS A 3/32 ALLEN SCREW THAT IS LOOSE SECURE IT WITH BLUE LOCTIE MORE ON THIS IN CLOSING THOUGHTS.....POOR QC IMHO 1. You must secure the sight tool to a work bench or a vice! Sure you can remove factory Glock sight off easily, now try installing aftermarket sights like: Ameriglo, Angry Bear Arms,Trijcon or XS sights without having the tool secure. For the internet commandos that say you can with ease please post a video unedited.I have done it, true P.i.t.a. 2. Remember you are pressing the new sight in and the dove tail slot on you side it tight use lubricate it help you install your new sight! A drop or 2 of your favorite gun oil goes a long way,I recommend Kroil oil. Also your new sight may have too much coating on its dove tail lightly polish coating with 600 grit will ease installation ****Remember*** you are polishing not removing metal! if don't know the difference look it up! that's it short and sweet. Closing thoughts would I recommend this tool? Yes I would, while not perfect it gets the job done. This tool has the potential to be a very good tool if NcSTAR installed guide pins on the Base Platform to limit platform tilt and loctited 3/32 thumb wheel screw . Look at the tool all adjustment for this tool have guide rods i.e steel rods on Top brace, side brace and sight pusher these rod aid in installation of you new sight. Since the platform adjustment or the proper name "Jack screw threads are sloppy over .040"play up/down and side to play resulting in a poor clamping pressure of your slide..So when you are installing/removing your slide walks or rolls in the direction you are installing you new sight.Maybe this is how those polymer slide block get broke. If NcSTAR installed guide rods on Base Platform this problem would be greatly reduced .

I was a bit scared by previous reviews, about how fragile are the jaws of the pushing block. I have seen a lot of bad reviews regarding Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm 2.0. I tried to remove the back sight using a punch, but I have stopped, worried that I am going to damage the sight and/or the slide. I have purchased NcStar rear sight tool and I am happy I did! I have spent more time lubing the threads and positioning columns than actually removing the sight. I have used a good quality gun grease and played the threaded rods back and forth to evenly distribute the grease. I have noticed a huge improvement in the way the holders/sight pushing block were moving/working after proper lubrication. Anyway, I have placed and aligned my M&P 2.0 slide on the tool and start pushing the rear sight carefully being ready to back off at the first sign of struggle, but after a very light reaction, the sight started to move smoothly, using only two fingers to work the pusher all the way out. I am very happy with the purchase. It will serve me well in the years to come. I hope I don't have to mention that I have removed the set screw of the sight. I would recommend this product to anyone, but would like to emphasize proper lubrication! Remember grease is better!

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Sostituire la tacca di mira sulla glock è stato semplicissimo. Fatto in un minuto. Basta settarlo bene e tenerlo lubrificato. Se le tacche faticano a muoversi può darsi che sia stato utilizzato del collante. In quel caso, prima di procedere alla rimozione con il presente attrezzo, scaldate le mire con un phon. Ottimo acquisto.
