I ;purchased from a different vendor on Amazon for same price. I noticed many reviews saying the filter does not fit correctly .... Maybe the Prime filter is made by different mfgr. compared to the one I purchased. It's surprising how much dirt is in the air when I change the filters. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars ***Good(Not Great)Replacement Filter*** *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2016* Taking this one out of the box (yes it came in a plain brown box) and comparing it to the original filter (the unit model 18150 was in storage) it has the same rubbery type plastic top and bottom, the orig. has a black nylon mesh on the outer ring and a metal inner ring the after market or replacement type uses white nylon on both sides which makes sense. The filter itself is a tad thinner than the orig. thickness wise but is a snow white element which will show dirt and whatnot easily and hopefully move more air through it faster thus collecting more of the stuff we bought it for.
