Overall this kit is really great, and the gem chips are a great size for all manner of spellwork. The packaging is extremely pleasing and could almost be a decoration in itself. MOST of the gemstones appear genuine, but that’s where I take issue. I emptied out a few “aquamarine” gems into my hand and rolled them between my fingers when I noticed tell-tale signs of dye that made it look like aquarium pebbles. Blue dye actually came off in my hand. So I took them to the sink and gave them all a quick rinse and sure enough…they turned almost clear (see review images of before and after). I’m never a fan of artificially dying gemstones just to get the color to appear more vivid, or to pass off a cheap stone or glass shard as a genuine specimen. The whole point of natural gemstones is that they should each be a little different! The same thing happened with the “jade” stone. To me these are stones that, if you can’t use genuine specimens, should be left out of the kit altogether. It muddles the otherwise great feeling I have with this kit! Gems like labradorite and even lapis lazuli appear genuine, so I would have actually been fine if the kit had to take out a few of the dyed gems in order to maintain a genuine collection. After all, it will be hard for me to justify using the “aquamarine” or “jade” stones in spellwork now, knowing I’m potentially working with an unknown gem. This will really diminish my intentions and ability to manifest them. Again, this kit, including everything from the crystal guide, explanations, grid, selenite wand, most specimens, and packaging are fantastic and are definitely still worth the price! Hence why I still give it 4 stars. Just be aware that some specimens you receive may be dyed, so you may be better off getting those stones from a dedicated rock shop. EDIT: The company contacted me, refunded my purchase, explained the situation, and even offered to send me a new kit. They confirmed that some specimens in the kit I received are dyed to intensify the color, but that they used natural dyes on what are actually lightly colored genuine specimens. So the aquamarine and jade (and even the turquoise according to them) I received are said to be genuine gemstones that simply lack the bright blue and green colors that people tend to associate them with. I'm still not a fan of that practice. But, according to them, in their upcoming gemstone kits they will be leaning towards using un-dyed specimens, even if they lack some of the brighter colors, which greatly excites me. So because of their attention to customer service, listening to feedback, and willingness to explain their choices with me, I have updated my review to 5 stars. Wyspell really seems to care, and I'm excited to receive the new kit!

So cute and so handy it has a little booklet to describe each and everyone of the little mini stones. The jars are so cute. It’s so organized truly recommend.

Love this kit! I still have most of it and I use them when accordingly in my spell work. Just be careful when doing your spell work with fire while using these because they pop Crackle and pop out onto the floor. So, use cautiously with fire! Good set to start with and I am probably going to repurchase in the future as needed.

Update: I’m updating my review from 2 stars to 5 stars. After posting my original feedback, Wyspell’s customer service contacted me personally. Even though I had already received a refund through Amazon, they still followed up to make sure I was completely satisfied. That level of care and dedication is rare and truly appreciated. Thank you for going above and beyond! Original: I was so excited to receive this gemstone set, it’s beautifully packaged, and the stones I did receive are lovely and well-labeled. However, the box is supposed to come with 30 stones, and mine only had 24. The entire bottom row was missing, which was really disappointing. I contacted Amazon customer service and they’ve been helpful in trying to resolve the issue, but it’s frustrating to pay for a complete set and receive an incomplete one, especially since some of my favorite stones (like Tiger’s Eye and Unakite) were missing. Hopefully this was just a packaging error, but if you’re thinking about buying it, double-check that all rows are there as soon as it arrives.

The stones appear to be of decent quality, the labradorite doesn't have much flash but that is to be expected with such small chips. The bottles are full and there are several chips in each, some are very tiny buy will work for my purpose. Most of them have good color except the orange calcite looks frosted and muted. The cards and guide include are nice. The box is the only really bad thing. As soon as I opened it the spine popped off the box the jars are in, then the second time I opened it the back of the cover came off the box. The jars are nestled in foam and safe but only a loose piece of foam covers them so without the cover being in place there really is no protection for them. It was just hot glued on so I will probably just glue it back on but it's kind of a bummer for it to break right away. It is a nice presentation but I would think twice before giving it as a gift or ordering it a second time.

Nice selection of little crystals. Good for the price. Would recommend.

I love this purchase. I bring these jars to my crafty girls events like Galentine’s, and everyone has so much fun picking through them to find crystals that resonate with them. I pair them with mini essential oil roll-ons so they can create their own little blends, and it’s a hit every time. Everyone always asks me to bring them to every meetup, which says everything.
