This is the sole purpose of why I chew this gum. So coupling that it does that job, with the fact that it is all natural, and the updated version also includes an all natural gum base (all other gum-bases have plastics), I'm highly satisfied.However there will be this con to consider for most looking for a gum, the flavor does not last and it may require 2 pieces for an adequate gum wad. When you first start chewing there is an initial flavor blast that lasts at most 30 seconds, then there is a very mild and subtle mint flavor, though I'm not sure if it's emanating from the gum or just the lingering effects of the initial blast.
