I loved the retro style of this crib online, but I will have to admit that the pictures made it seem a little flimsy. I have onwned a much more expensive crib four years ago that was extremely heavy and took about three hours to put together. I found this one (finally, in stock!) here on Amazon for a steal. It came five days earlier than estimated. As I took the pieces out, I was really excited with how heavy they were, especially the end headboard and footboard. It took me 10 MINUTES to assemble this crib - there are literally four steps to it. I don't it could possibly be easier than if it came fully assembled. It took an Allen key and a Phillips head screwdriver, and that is it. Fully assembled, I LOVE THIS CRIB! I did leave the casters off just because I don't need to roll the crib around too often. The feet are very sturdy, but the crib itself is 200% more stable than my previous expensive heavy crib. It doesn't wobble, move, etc. It's amazing. And it's still light. My husband and I picked it up with one hand each and moved it all around the room for the best location. In all, we could not have picked a better crib! Note: this crib is very stationary, no risk with the new drop-side ban. It's completely comfortable to lean over the crib to get the baby out (I am 5'4").

Very easy to set up, it’s very sturdy and we get many compliments on this crib. I know when my baby sleeps in here, he will be safe. Love it so much!

definitely met my expectations. Great price, great design. Most impressive was the Greenguard gold certification which was a must for me. I would agree that this product does not feel as strong as other wooden cribs (we have a potterybarn that is much heavier and "solid" feeling. However, we pushed and shook the crib a bunch to get a sense of its sturdiness and I am very comfortable with how it felt. Given how light it is I would say that maybe a strong three year old jumping on it could move it a bit but I don't exactly plan on that happening. We did not use the wheels, mine arrived with silver wheels not gold, as this is on a hardwood floor and I don't want it to move around.

I purchased this crib for my first grandbaby! ❤️ It was on my daughter's wish list for her shower. She is 100% satisfied with it.
