I had seen and used these pillows at a chiropractic office, but they had really wacky designs and were more expensive. I have MS and a spinal injury, which just recently started involving my neck. I've been miserable, lost partial use of left arm,and could never get comfortable. I searched for neck pillows on Amazon and was THRILLED to find this in "normal" solid colors at an excellent price! I signed up for Prime just to get this expedited. Now it basically hasn't left my neck. It is small enough to take anywhere, but unlike the U-shaped pillows, it doesn't give me that "choking" feeling. It is firm but has lots of give to it, and a tiny zipper if you need to customize amount of stuffing. I was using a rolled up hand towel and it doesn't even compare to the softness this provides. It also has some gentle traction which helps alleviate pain. The sides do a great just of gently cradling your head without smothering you, and since there are 3 "sides" to the ends, it doesn't roll away when you sit up. The handles seemed weird, but are nice to use to carry and you don't notice them while using it. I imagine they could be useful in adhering it to a car seat or favorite chair if desired. I am ordering one for my mom and aunt, who also struggle with neck pain. I can't emphasize enough the right "size" of the roll. It conforms to you very well. I have a short neck (I'm short overall) and it works just fine for me, but also for taller friends. This thing is likely never leaving my side. A note about the material: I worried about the velour being hot, but so far that hasn't been a problem despite my hot-natured-ness. It is just very soft, and feels breathable. I sleep on my back due to other back problems, so I can't really comment on comfort while side sleeping. Hope that helps you decide!

I got this for my 2009 Subaru Impreza which has very low seats you can not raise. I am also 5'2" so I needed both a bottom and back cushion. I bought this with the "Everlasting Comfort 100% Pure Memory Foam Wedge Seat Cushion, Body Heat Responsive, Orthopedic U Cut-Out Design to Relieve Pain, Car Cushion". I looked A LOT and Im happy with the combination. With the seat cushion, you might need to double up depending on how hot it is. This product here, the back support for lumbar has better foam that retains shape even after constant use. I like this a lot, and Ive had it for a few weeks now. I drive a lot for work and this has made a huge difference. When I am making turns, the sides of the cushion help my back and the straps keep it in the correct place of my back. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was because I wish there wasn't such a big drop off at the top. If I lean my head back theres no support. But thats very nit picky. Overall it has preformed exactly as I had hoped and Im happy with my purchase. There had been no wear and tear or degradation of quality. After a weeks of hard use, its still feels like new when I get back into my car. It doesn't look too out of place in my car either.

I have a different take than most of the reviewers here. My pillow was not "soft"--it WAS hard, and too hard to sleep on, from being overstuffed. Fortunately, there is a zipper to remove excess stuffing, which helped me get it to a comfortable level... or at least, a level which feels quite comfortable as I'm falling asleep, but there must be something wrong with this pillow's "alignment" qualities, or just the way I sleep, because every morning after using this pillow, my neck and spine feel twice as stiff as they did the night before, even if I've been taking things easy the days prior. I figured this out early on so I shoved the pillow in the closet. Recently, though, I've had some bad neck and spine pain and was desperately hoping I misjudged this pillow, so I tried it again. Like before, it is comfortable to fall asleep with, and soft once the extra stuffing is removed, but sure enough, the morning after using it, my neck is much stiffer, even though it had been slowly improving until now. I'll acknowledge that it's possible I'm "doing it wrong," but if it's so easy to do it wrong, it doesn't seem worth the risk to me! It's also possible that something about my spine is just not compatible with this pillow, or my problems are to a strange point where anything that tries to 'perform' a realignment can make things feel worse. Even if those things are true, I certainly did not buy this pillow with any such possibilities in mind, and feel as though I should have been warned that it could lead to such pain. I can also acknowledge the possibility of coincidence, but given my circumstances and activities prior to the use of the pillow, I have to doubt it's a coincidence. Besides that, it has NEVER made me feel the slightest bit better, except as I'm falling asleep, which I would count for nothing considering the effect the next morning. If I am doing it wrong, I did not find any documentation or instructions to explain how to "do it right." I realize most customers seem to have had positive results with this pillow, but your mileage may vary. On the off-chance your experience is anything like mine, try it out when you don't have to go to work the next day.

Just what I needed I'm so glad I got this it improves my sleep.

It was comfortable and it relaxed me but I felt Ineeded more stretch8ng in my neck.

I spend allot of time sitting in my office chair. Because of that found myself experiencing nagging pains in the middle of my back when standing up from a sitting position. Picked this Memory Foam Cushion up to address that problem. I can say that this is a well made product. The stitching is spot on. Material used is great quality. Even the straps provided for setting cushion firmly in place how you want it are well constructed. Only complaint I have is the top half of the cushion that supports the middle area of my back isn't wide enough. Bottom section of my back the cushion supports is great. The middle portion of my back where the edge of the cushion sets on doesn't feel so hot. Have to constantly adjust it to keep the edge from pressing on skin leading to some irritation. So if you have a small frame or back, this cushion is absolutely perfect. For those of us that are a bit bigger with a wider back it does have a slight flaw. Overall I do like this Memory Foam Cushion. It has addressed my problem. Have noticed a major reduction in the periodic pain I'd get in the middle of my back moving up towards my shoulder area when getting out of my chair since using it.

Piece of junk received the item plugged it into the charger waited till the green light came on went to use it nothing no heat no massage nothing a waste of my money why do you Amazon keep selling this cheap junk and that what it is haven't tried the second one and I didn't actually order two hopefully the second one will work however I am not holding my breath.

really nice pillow, I love the heating function to help my neck relaxes. I often have very stiff neck and tight lower head, which makes it hard to fall asleep for me every night. The heating function help me improved this a lot. I do need to use my largest pillow case to suit these but it works really well.
