The no load output on this adapter measures 6.9 VDC. I was not able to check with load because of a defective component that was connected to this power supply

Works with Halloween animatronics from Lowe’s. Wire is slightly thicker and of better quality but a little shorter than original. Would buy again as a replacement.

Used for a DIY christmas light project, powering multiple LED lights

This adapter is perfect for my blood pressure machine. The power source fit, it's not flimsy, and it doesn't overheat. Great product.

I purchased this for $4.29 to replace the cord for a Homedics sound machine and it does exactly what I needed it to! I've had it for almost 2 months now and no problems so far. Only downside, and the reason it has 4 stars instead of 5, is the blinding blue light on the adapter when it's plugged in. It's so bright we can't sleep unless it's covered. Even my husband, who can sleep through absolutely anything, gets so irritated with it. The cord length was listed in the description so I knew what I was getting, but after plugging it in, a longer cord would be beneficial. No biggy though! But otherwise, happy with the purchase!

I bought this 6V wall adapter as a replacement for an appliance that requires at most 1.5 amp, thinking this would be sufficient for the job. When it arrived, I was surprised that it was half the size of the old one, but figured that shouldn't be a problem. When I plugged it in, the blue light immediately came on and then went out. I unplugged my appliance and the blue light came back on. As soon as I plug the output into my appliance I get half a second of power then it shuts off. Thinking that maybe I had a defective unit, I tested it by plugging the adapter into my Kill-A-Watt to see how much power it was drawing. The most I could get out of it was about 8 watts before it would shut off with some internal overload protection. After many trials, I have come to conclude that the power adapter I was sent is functional as long as your power draw never exceeds 8 watts. Either this unit was calibrated to shut off and protect wrong, or the stated specification of 2 amps is misleading. If your device only uses up to 8 watts or about 1.3 amps then you should be fine with this adapter, but 2 amps (12 watts) is not possible.
