Thinking the replacement filter was defeectiveI ordered another box and it was the same result. I returned both filter orders to Amazon and ordered the filters direct from Instapure. The same results. I pulled up avideo from Instapure and it showed the unit with two white wasers inside the filter holster which my unit did not have. I contacted Instapure and am awaiting their response. The unit is seven months old. Didn't expect this issue.Update.....Upon receiving this review, Instapure immediately responded and sent me a replacement chasis unit. We easily installed the replacement and the filter is working fine. Instapure is a good outfit to deal with if you have a problem. The unit then proceeded to fall off constantly, and after attempting my best to repair it, I decided to contact their online customer service for support. Their online support unit insisted on a picture displaying what the problem was, and proved unhelpful overall. What did they want to see? The instant where the unit fell off? I then contacted them by phone and was assisted by a very helpful customer service rep, who sent me a new set of adapters. Unfortunately, these new adapters were of no help either, since they too deteriorated within a few months.
