Great sheet lead
I got this to make circular protective caps for pilings on my pier. Much easier and cheaper than working with copper. And, they look great. My only issue is I gave lots of sheet lead pieces left over. I guess I'll melt some down into a brick and cut others into maleable strip sinkers. But, it sure would be nice if the company would sell sheet lead in circular form.

if you need it, this is very useful, i needed it for a demo model, but have a lot left over
i needed a smaller part of this for a model i was building but it worked as lead does for the demonstration. it cuts easily, and make sure you wear gloves or wash your hands well after handling. there is a lot of lead in this package, so be aware

Nice product for noise barrier construction
Using this in conjunction with adhesive lined soft closed cell foam to create a decoupled DIY noise barrier for automotive acoustic treatment to cut down road and exterior noise.

Good lead and easy to store.
These are great to have. I can melt them down into lead sinkers when i get some molds. I cam put them against the wall and keep them out of the way until then.

Good for low level radiation shielding
Using as high level beta and low level gamma radiation shielding for some natural thorium, radium, and uranium ore samples. I cut it to line the inside of 1 GAL, and 1 QT sized paint cans. Since lead pigs were too small for some of my samples. Depending on how spicy the sample is, I only need 1 to 3 layers in the can on all sides, to bring measurable levels down to background. Though where I live background radiation levels are higher than most other places, due to the amount of natural parent and daughter radioactive isotopes in the ground. So it wouldn’t get the outer wall of the can anywhere near close to background with this alone in Scotland or parts of Canada. Anywho, tin snips, pliers, and a rubber mallet are all I needed to cut and shape it as needed. I did try to solder the seams closed, but found that just made a lot of smoke and slag. So opted to just overlap, or fold joints. Most samples fit in the 1 QT sized cans that are lined. The rest in the 1 GAL cans. And a few really hot rocks are in both. The lined 1QT inside the lined 1 GAL.
