Depends on how heavy your beard is. Mine is very thick & even though I rinse the razor before inserting it in appliance, I get one month to 6 weeks of use before replacing cleaner unit. Suggesting you always either rinse with water or use a can of air to remove beard from razor before using appliance.

Does it work with the 9 series 9095?

I use a series 5 and it works beautifully I SEE NO REASON WHY IT WOULD NOT WORK WITH A SERIES 9

It depends how often you shave, even with store bought cartridges the shaving system base (body/holder) is always automatically running an "intensive" clean cycle. I like this product and would order again when I run out.
