The ability to apply a flexible material to the trunk of your tress while they are young & have this item grow with your tree to further protect it is just a solid investment. You can cut this item to better fit your tree & know that you are doing all you can to help young trees reach their maturity. This item will help protect from sun & rodents and grass trimmers.

Just installed these and they were pretty easy to use and slip on the tree trunk. I have not ranked Durability as I want some time to pass and see how they hold to the weather before ranking this attribute

The material works as expected, stays tight to the tree trunk and prevents furry tailed rodents from chewing on the tree trunk. Evidently squirrels with nothing else to do except steal seed out of the bird feeders will also supplement their dining with young and expensive Japanese Maple Trees.Not any more.
