K&N Performance Cold Air Intake Kit 69-2545TP with Lifetime Filter for Dodge Challenger/Charger, Chrysler 300 6.4L V8

This is my 5th cold air intake from K&N through the years. Decent fit, needed a bit of “convincing” to fit the heat shield, but it is easy enough to do. Paired it with the K&N waterproof sock for extra safety since the provided metal plank to fill the hood vents won’t protect it from car wash and heavy rain. Nothing to dislike if your mechanically inclined should be a fairly simple install. Only thing is if you cant just look at a screw and know what size it is, the instructions could be a lil more descriptive. Also should tell you that smaller of the 4 clamps goes near the throttle bottle. Um not much else wrong everything else would be nitpicking. Bottom line installed in my driveway in a hour and 10 mins and drove the car noticed better acceleration and low end torque. Can hear the initial airflow suction and monitoring of airflow temp shows excellent decrease upon movement. Great product from a tried and true company.

Product looks and fits very nice. The rubber around the metal could’ve came installed but it’s whatever. One thing I will say is do not use a drill when tightening the clamp on the throttle body. I did end up breaking the aluminum lip on my throttle so I have to buy a new one. Looking forward to the sound and drive tho

Easy to install if you have some basic technical skills and tools. Engine sounds better when accelerating, car is more swifter.
