Where does this company get the cocoa beans from?

The canister label indicates "blended from the finest cocoa from around the world". In other words, I don't know.

How does this cocoa compare to Valrhona cocoa powder?

It's the best cocoa I've ever gotten. Crazy good

The back (one of the images shown, actually, if you look at them) simply says it's cocoa processed in the dutch way with alkalai. It's made in facilities with milk chocolate, but the facility is peanut and gluten free. So I seriously doubt it has soy in it (not sure why there would be) but if you're unsure I would comtact the company directly.
