Balsámic Dressing "Saporoso" 6 years old -3,4 oz. (100 ml)

We visited the Acetaia Malpighi “Del Cigno” estate and vineyard outside Modena during a trip to Italy a few years ago, and got the opportunity to enjoy a tour, as well as a tasting of a range of their products, and were utterly enchanted. Everything they offer is of superb quality. Not inexpensive; but definitely something that falls into the "you get what you pay for" category! This bears no resemblance to what you find in your local supermarket; not even on the gourmet aisle. Their traditional, protected DOP vinegars are beyond my means for everyday use. But I find the Saporoso to be a lovely compromise. It has a rich, deep sweetness and is lovely on salad or any sort of roast meat, fantastic on fish, and a decadent treat on fresh fruit! Worth every penny. I economize elsewhere so as to always have some in the house.

We first purchased this balsamic in Tuscany in 2014 and given the price and taste, we had two (larger than the ones we bought online) bottles shipped home. When we finally ran out of our existing supply we went online (Amazon) and were surprised, and pleased, we found it, albeit in a smaller and considerably more expensive package. While we're not professional chefs or deeply knowledgeable about balsamic, like fine wine, we know quality and perfection when we taste it. Saporoso is just perfect, well balanced, smooth, and oozing in flavor and depth. It's tops nicely on salads, vegetables and ice cream, and no doubt compliments a lot of other foods. No doubt a balsamic guru might argue that there are equal or "better" balsamics on the market, but with Saporoso in the pantry, why bother.

Not cheap, but worth the money for those of us who like good balsamic. The flavor is intense enough that we really don't need to use a lot at any one time, so the cost per serving isn't all that bad.

Most offers are for 200ml, which I have purchased from other vendors for about the same price. I should have noted the details that this is the half size bottle, and CANNOT be returned. So good vinegar, bad vendor and bad value.

I received this as a gift. Perfect to drizzle over a salad, crab cakes or salade Nicoise.

数あるバルサミコの中からこの商品を選んだのは、 原材料が煮詰めたブドウだけで、 ブドウ液や酸化剤などは一切使用していなかったからです。 人気があって美味しいと評判のバルサミコもありますが、 それらの原材料を見ると、ブドウ液やビネガーなど 添加物がなにかしら入っていました。 私の知る限り、原材料がブドウだけというのはマルピーキだけかも。 5世代に渡る老舗が伝統的製法で造るバルサミコ・・・ 大正解でした。 生野菜サラダにバルサミコ酢とオリーブオイル・・ いままで食したことがない、何というハーモニー・・・ でも、バルサミコ酢だけでも十分です。 冷製トマトに玉ネギ、チーズ・・・ そしてバルサミコ・・・ ヨーグルトやアイスにも相性抜群です。 ローストビーフにでもかけたら・・・もう・・ ヤバイです。 スーパーなどのバルサミコ酢には戻れません。 あまりにも違いすぎます。 でも、あっという間になくなります。 以前は確か・・・4000円以上していましたから、 安くはなっています。 6年熟成品、この美味しさですからね。 納得せざるを得ないでしょう。

Taste good, but there are smilair for much cheaper, way too expensive.

I don’t normally leave a negative review, but I was disappointed to find that this item was shipped in a bag and so the box arrived damaged. There is a puncture on the side and the corners are squished. I’m embarrassed to give it as part of a gift now. Surprising considering it’s such a high quality and expensive item.

Das ist ein wirklich sehr feines und leckeres Essig. Es ist wirklich mild, fast ein wenig süßlich. Preislich ist es natürlich kein Essig, um damit den Gurkensalat anzumachen, sondern eher etwas für den feinen Salat. Ich kann es uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Ottimo sapore. Ne basta poco per condire qualsiasi piatto
