Bright enough for its inded purpose, and waterproof on my boat trailer for months now
On my bass boat trailer, they are quite comparable to typical reverse lights, except that they are a little more focused than they are flood-like. Not so much that they don't work well, or that I am sorry I got them, but just an observance. They have been waterproof from day one, and have been for months now. They had the same plugs as my standard non-LED revers lights, and snapped right in. I am not worried about them falling out, as some reviewers mentioned, because the fir perfectly in my trailer's reverse light openings. Very happy with them thus far, and I submerge them, pull out of the water at night, on a regular basis. Edit April 20, 2023: Came back and bought the red tail/brake light version. Just like the white reverse light I bought last year, these are exactly as expected. Plug and Play and fit in existing grommets. Also tried the grommets they come with, and although they are more flexible, they work, too, without falling out. In fact the ones they come with are easier to push in. All in all, a great purchase both times.

True Mods taillights
Initially I was going to buy another brand. After seeing the amazing reviews on this brand, I chose these. I just received them 30 minutes ago. They have been completely installed and functioning perfectly. They were a perfect fit. Plug and play and easy to install. They are nice and bright, and the quality is excellent. They have exceeded my expectations. I would give them 5 stars and happily recommend them and purchase them again.

Added some light to our RV and Trailer
We found that there wasn't enough light when backing up our trailer with the jeep on it. We added some of these lights to the back of the RV and back of the trailer and are very satisfied with the amount of light they provide without being too bright. They were easy to install and work as described.

Good fit, better light when reversing
These lights did the trick. much better lighting when backing and greatly improved the back up camera view. Several months of use at the time of this review. Lost a single star due to flimsy rubber seal/grommet compared to the OEM lights but they have stayed in place and endured some nasty weather with no performance issues. I would buy them again for other trailers. Currently used on a class C RV.

Great Lights
These lights came in and I was anxious to install them and make sure they worked without making changes like adding resistors to make them flash. I also had some concern about the size being correct. These lights came with the pigtail for the wiring, as well as the boot that holds them in place. So the size matched my old ones and worked with the old boot. The new boots were not as heavy as the previous ones, but still held the light in securely. As I went to plug them in I wanted to add some dielectric grease, but this was already there, just pealed off some tape. Then it was time to plug them into the truck and try them out - they worked great as direct replacement to the standard bulbs. So I just installed them and cannot attest to how long they will work, but I can can say they went in quick and easy, look good and work great. Time to try some backup lights.

Bright and inexpensive
I replaced my boat trailer's leaking Truck-Lite 60 series incandescent lights with these LED lights. The housing of the new lights was the same size as the old lights but the rubber grommet that came with the lights was much thinner and flimsier then the Truck-Lite grommet. I tossed out the new grommets and reused the 40 year old Truck-lite grommets. These lights fit perfectly into that. When I tried using the grommets that came with these lights the new lights just fell out they were so loose. The wiring connector used with the new lights was very similar to the Truck-Lite connector but the pins are offset with different spacing. It would have made the installation so much easier if I could have reused the original wiring connectors. I had to cut the old connectors off and wire the new ones on. This was not a big deal but a lot more work than necessary. Truck-Lites are pretty much an industry standard. I'm happy with the brightness of the new lights. I'll have to wait and see if they hold up for 40 years like the originals did.

This is what you need
It’s always best to go with LED on trailers. I always buy these. They’re easy to replace they last a long time you’re definitely worth the money if you get the ones that use the regular bulbs you never know when you’re gonna go out and want to get pulled over for a stupid tail light don’t need to hassle if a bowl goes out I need you still have several bulbs.

Pro Tip - Use Silicone. Great value!
I recently refurbished a utility trailer, including all new wiring and LED lights. After searching several sources, these oval LED's seemed to be the best value out there. They are nice and bright, look sharp, and include industry standard connectors. Overall, I'm very happy with these lights. You get two lights for the price most places want for just one. Some reviews mentioned that the light fits loose when mounted and had concerns of it falling out. Mine seemed to fit pretty well if you install it properly, but just be safe, here's a pro tip: Coat the mating surfaces of the rubber gasket in a healthy bead of clear silicone caulk. This will secure it in place but also allow for easy removal in the future if needed. I used silicone on both the rubber gasket to trailer, and the gasket to the actual light. They are in nice and solid.

doesn't fit tightly
Did not fit the existing oval cutout. Too small therefore would not seat properly, thus falling out. grommet was stiff plastic and not supple like orginal ones..Light it self appeared to work ok. returned for refund
