I had a very different experience and end result than the other reviewers, but they're correct on a few points: (1) this is NOT expensive furniture, so don't expect superb quality. It's not bad for the money, though; (2) are there a gajillion pieces? Yep. But it's mostly hardware. The bottom support bar, for example, has 38 screws just for it alone; (3) are the directions hard to understand? A little, but again, they're not bad. It's all pictures, and words sure would have been helpful in a few places.Here are my post-assembly tips:• It takes a LONG time to put together, so plan accordingly.• Go slowly – you'll be glad you did. Rushing will cause you to make mistakes and damage the piece.• Lay out all of the hardware and pieces BEFORE you start – being organized saved me a lot of time and headaches.• There are several pieces on which all the places where screws go don't have pre-drilled holes. No idea why – seems like if they're drilling two holes, why not all three? So, use a drill or a smaller screw to drill pilot holes so your screws go in straight. If they go in crooked, you can crack the pressboard.• Read a couple of steps ahead so you understand the relationship between where you are and where you're going.It comes in two well-packed boxes, and none of the pieces were damaged. And thankfully, all the doors and drawers lined up easily, which other reviewers said they had trouble with. Overall, this is a really nice piece for the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great, simple build, sturdy enough. Countertop a little short in height. *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 24, 2019* I had wanted this piece for a long time but it was sold out everywhere and I thought it might be out of production. About a year later I was surprised to see it back in stock almost everywhere. I'm happy I went with Amazon bc both boxes showed up with huge amounts of damage and you could see the mdf chipped a lot. The replacement Amazon sent also had a ton of damage but it wouldn't be visible after assembly.Construction was simple enough like other furniture in this price range. Took an evening and I did it solo. Leveling the doors took more time than I'd like to admit but it's the same as any cabinet alignment. There's a metal U shaped bar that runs the length on the piece on the underside for structural support. This is great but I wish there were pre-drilled holes for that. The countertop is 24" above the floor which feels a bit low and I'm 5'6". I might get new legs down the road. ### ⭐ Worse purchase ever *by G***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 19, 2017* If you think that putting together pieces of an ikea furniture is a nightmare you have probably not experienced yet the disaster of putting together this unit.The pieces don't correspond and after over one week I'm still trying to figure out how to fix it. The quality and the design is very nice and I would have been more than happy to have this unit in my apt if it didn't take me over one week to put together and still pieces don't work together and there are some empty spots that I really don't understand how should get filled. I'mStill trying to figure out if throwing this piece on tha garbage or still try to figure out a solution. I definitely wish I have never bought it and I would never recommend this purchase not even to my worse enemy. Oh, and I have always bought pieces of furniture included beds, tables and drawers online and I'mVery very good on assembly them. I cannot even imagine how a beginner would feel once he gets this item. Good luck! Spend your money on a nice dinner rather than with this disaster.
