Previously, I've kept my drives in anti static bags and often inside the old boxes that come from WD and Seagate. That's fine but it looks mess. 1. I like these new cases for the way they stack and solidly connect to each other. 2. The cases come with soft rubber cushions already stuck inside to help hold the drives too. Simple but nice addition. 3. The cases all snap solidly shut. another nice feature. 4. The labels on the ends are on BOTH ends so doesn't matter which way around the case is (simple feature but again, nicely thought out) I can see one potential long term issue. The hinge is the folded plastic. I've had issues with this type of "hinge" in the past with other cases but I also should note, that normally happens after lots and lots of usage and after a handful or more years. If I could have ask for one improvement I'd like to see a pinned hinge instead but if these currently hold up then is it that big a deal? Time will tell. Overall though, impressed with fitting, stacking, solid closure mechanism etc and would definitely recommend. Normally I bought Orico when it came to needing storage for extra HDD's but these SSD cases are a nice godsend in needing good storage, and I have a lot of SSD's that I bought cheaply over time before the AI craze jacked up prices.
