Just get her stuff! Her skill and discernment with colors are, quite simply, amazing. The products are high quality and last me for a long time. The best part is getting a kit that really does have all the right shades for my type. I really don't care for shopping for cosmetics in retail stores--under florescent lights, trying to tell how a color might look out of the package or on my skin tone, whether it will look different in different lighting or even change shades after wearing it a bit. Half the time I take that stuff back...or don't get around to taking it back and end up wasting the money. Buy from Jill and bye-bye shopping woes! : ) ### ⭐⭐ Didn't work with my medium brown hair *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2017* I have medium brown hair that throws red and gold highlights in the sun. Indoors it just looks like a medium brown. My complexion has a yellow undertone. I picked this set after looking at all of the other color sets and thought it was the best fit for me. WRONG! I got the set, and even though I had my doubts, I thought I would give it a try. The eye shadows work fine. The eye pencil was fine too. What did not work were the blushes and the lipsticks. I look best in a rosy-peach. All of the blushes were either too orange or brown. The lipsticks were either orange or brown and I don't see how they could possibly work for anyone except maybe a redhead. I believe in Jill Kirsh's color theory, you can see for yourself in her videos, but she needs to make one more kit for people with medium brown hair. Redheads and brownettes just don't mix in the makeup department.Now that I have told you what I think about the colors I will tell you about the kit itself and the quality of the makeup. The lipstick consistency seems good - not too creamy so that it runs all over your face. I think it will stay on for a while, at least until you eat. The blushes are good - highly pigmented, so you don't need much on the brush. The eyeshadows are nice. They have a good variety of colors. They go on just fine. The eye pencil is a metallic brown and isn't too dry. The mascara went on nicely but it is dark brown, not black and I prefer black, whereas dark brown is best for a redhead. The blush brush was just as good as my Lancôme. The eyeshadow brushes are useless. Poor quality and if I had kept the kit, would have gone in the trash. I didn't try the lip pencil. If the colors had worked for me I would have been very happy and rated it 4 stars.
