**Q: will this knob fit the rival crock pot model # scvp550 type sc7 ?**
A: If the place where the knob belongs is a half circle shape with one flat side, it will work very well, assuming you attach it properly.  Be sure to tighten the small screw.  I purchased two of these for two entirely different crockpots, and they worked wonderfully well.

**Q: I need the inner measurements of the knob to assure fit with my crockpot control shaft.  Mine is a half shaft of what would be 26mm if whole.**
A: I had the same situation with my crock pot.  The knob doesn't fit, and my husband could make it fit.  He loaned me a pair of "side cutters" because they have a great grip with the pincers.  Sorry I could not help with that issue.  Might need to buy a new crock pot anyway, both of mine are OLD
