It is now 15 degrees in my lounge. I have a base layer top and tracksuit bottoms underneath the sleeping bag suit. I can say that I am no warmer than if I was to put a coat on. I actually wore the selk bag suit to bed and I woke up early due to feeling cold on my shoulders, which was not under the duvet. I should have just purchased a cheap one from Amazon. No way could you wear this in the UK, save for summer. I'm 5'8" ish, 138 lbs, and didn't trusted the size chart. It seemed weird to order a large, so I ordered a medium and it was way too short in the torso. We're not here to wear a "slimming" item, we're here to stay warm. Go with the right size and you'll be STOKED. I've worn it to the beach, to the mountatins, camping, and sitting around a fire with friends. I run cold, so this has been a wonderful addition to my life. I'm NEVER cold when I've got it on.
