what is the gelatin source for the gels !? is it kosher / halal ?

the soft gel shell is made from beef gelatin, glycerin, water, carob, titanium dioxide. It's milk/casein free.

How big are the pills? I take the bluebonnets ones, but cut into 1/4s they are still too big for me to swallow.

The capsules are a little more than 1" long (1-1/16) and less than 1/2 inch wide (7/16). That sounds big but the capsules are very smooth and rounded and easy to swallow. Since its supposedly liquid inside I don't know what would happen if you cut it into quarters. They are so absorbable!
