Is this different than the 3 quart kit with a 2:1 mix ratio?** A: I've never had any opened for over a month. But it was good even after that long **Q: How long do you need to wait before pouring another layer over first pour?** A: I typically wait 12 hours. **Q: Can I make silicone molds with this** A: Do you mean can you pour this into silicone molds? Answer: yes it is very good resin. Just make sure to stir it for about 5 minutes. If you mean can you use this to make the molds themselves, the answer is no. You have to use silicone to make them.
