For my Weber 22-inch Original Kettle Premium, Weber makes 2 versions of cover that fits it perfectly 7150 - Premium Grill Cover - 22" charcoal grills (black) - $38.99 7176 - Grill Cover - 22" charcoal grills (grey) - $17.99 Personally, I prefers this particular 7176 one. Not only it is cheaper (almost 1/2 price), I truly prefer the color grey much more than the color black. With a grey cover, my covered kettle kind of blended in with my built-in outdoor cooking station, where-as if I cover my kettle with the black cover, it stood up like a sore-thumb, a big, black, blob/chunk of thing, in the middle of my yard, yuck! The material may not be the thickest, the durability and longevity may be questionable, but at least, it is cheap; almost disposable value, even if it last just a only a few years, it wouldn't break my bank for me to just get another one. For the price on Amazon ($17.99 shipped), I couldn't even find any other one, even random no-name chinese brand, that can beat its price. It fits my Weber kettle perfectly, and it got 1 velcro straps to hold it in its place. Simple to use, nothing fancy, get the job done, it is a good product by my book. I don't really need the 2x priced "premium" cover, I don't think that will add too much value to me. Let me give it a few years, and I may come back here and update this review on its longevity. Afterall, I am buying this for my 20years old Weber Kettle, which is still running strong! This cover fits well, and covers all of the grill. It has with stood several really bad wind and thunderstorms quite well. I would definitely recommend this item.🙂👍🏻

I purchased the Weber brand cover for my premium 22" charcoal grill because I figured it would by the highest quality on the market. Overall I think it missed the mark a little bit but was a good value for the price. Pros: - fits/shapes to the top part of the grill well -a decently thick material but still pliable so I don't have to fight it - easy on/off- takes less than a minute to get on or off - the price I paid on Amazon was at minimum $10 cheaper than physical stores I checked the same product at Cons: - it does not cinch around the bottom so a strong would could blow it off/up. I feel like this is an easy fix for the company and I keep an eye out for alternative brands that offer this feature but have yet to find on. It does not blow off frequently from my Midwest winds, but it has blown up once or twice so the cover is only partially on. Overall I think it does its job to cover the grill and protect from the elements, but it could be better by having a cinching bottom or weighted bottom to keep it from blowing off.

Despite its Velcro self-adhering piece that's at the bottom (you're to wrap it around one of the grill's pieces near the ground), it doesn't secure. A brief/relatively light wind undid the thing, and the cover blew off. I even moved the grill to a more protected part of my deck, right next to the house and protected on two sides. Still, no luck. Not to be outdone, I tied the cover with rope, just below the bowl. Now it can't slip off. But still, I shouldn't have had to have done this. I was expecting a cover like I'd had for a larger Weber grill--it was black, very heavy and a tight fit. I very much like my Weber grill, and want to protect it. So, until/unless I find a quality cover for it, I'm storing it in my garage. That means, I have to wheel it into the house, past the kitchen, and out the door to the garage. It's a pain. Don't buy this.

After watching my previous grill cover disintegrate faster than my New Year’s resolutions, I decided to invest in this Weber cover. Best decision I’ve made since buying the grill itself! This thing fits my 22” kettle like a tailored suit – snug but not uncomfortably tight, with enough room for the grill to breathe without flapping around like a flag in a hurricane. The material feels substantial and weatherproof. We’ve had torrential rain, blazing sun, and even some hail, and my grill underneath stays bone dry. The velcro straps actually stay put (revolutionary concept), and the handles make it easy to remove without doing that awkward grill cover dance we’ve all performed. My only minor gripe: it’s so effective that I sometimes forget I even have a grill under there. Had to lift the cover three times last weekend just to remember what I was working with. Bottom line: Finally, a grill cover that doesn’t give up after one season. Your kettle will thank you, and so will your wallet when you’re not replacing rusty grill parts every spring. Solid investment!
