These sheets dissolve quickly, cleaned our clothes well, and left no odor on clothing. I just squished the detergent through clothing for a few minutes, drained water, then rinsed clothing the same way once or twice depending on amount of clothes in sink. I also used these in the washing machine on the ship. IF you bring a small stain stick you'll be all set. Very satisfied and will use on all future cruises & long trips.
