I would attach it to some type of stand/tripod because of it's size. It may damage the screen with an attachment.

It is not a spotlight, and the rating is 650 lux. So it will depend on the ambient light. 15 feet, ok, in complete darkness. Indoors, with daylight, I would not count on more than 5 feet. I hope it helped.

What are the specs on the power adapter? I need to buy a new one (the other has vanished).
