I used it for a lining in masks and they have been washed many times **Q: Can this be washed and reused or is it disposable?** A: The short answer is yes... Recycle or throw it out after one day, or gently wash it in basic detergent, air dry or lowest dryer setting (avoid heat- it melts), and use it again. Depending on how gently or aggressively it is washed, and whether it is used as an inner or outer layer, it will last several to a dozen or more washes before you notice that the surface is starting to look kinda fuzzy. At that point, though still hydrophobic and breathable, its usefulness as filter material is highly questionable, and it may no longer be very hygienic, so I would get a new one. Can you use this as lining and/or the back layer of a cotton mask... absolutely - great idea. But, nothing lasts forever. Yes I did pay the highway robber's price for this product. It's a little heavier than what I'm used to, so it may hold up a little better. I've been making masks since before it was cool... the last time I bought this sort of thing, I got five yards by over 40" for six dollars. **Q: Is there a merv or hepa rating associated with this product ?** A: I found no product information that states that there is. Photo and video shows a card inserted into the cut open cellophane packaging. It will need to be stored in a zip lock bag. It measures as advertised and is labeled "made in Korea." I have started using K95 masks not cloth, so will not use this.
