Worked Perfect on New Whirlpool Dishwasher
My dishwasher is next to my sink and most installation hoses are too long. Thankfully Eastman makes this 5 foot hose which is the perfect length. The stainless braided jacket protects the pvc hose inside and prevents ruptures. The hose has 3/8 compression nuts on both ends. My new Whirlpool dishwasher used the female GHT x 3/8 male compression end adapter. Installation was easy and the 5 foot hose and adapter function as they should with no leaks.

Don't mess around with cheap water hoses in your home. Get the Eastman and have the peace of mind.
I learned from others' mistakes. I know a few people who've had water lines leak or burst after install, or years later due to degraded seals. Don't cheap out and get the budget lines with inferior rubber seals. Get the Eastman and, depending on your water quality, hardness, harshness, replace them around every 8 - 10 years. You probably won't thank me because you simply won't have any issues, just like it should be. Now go ask the others who bought the other guy's product. Water inside the home is serious business. I only trust Eastman with this in my house. That goes for the fridge water dispenser hose as well as the washing machine supply lines as well.

Appears to be very well made.
Fittings seem to be good quality. Stainless braid is very tightly woven. Two brass pieces (unused) look better than others I've seen.' I say 'appear' and 'seem' because all I have to go by is appearance. We used this hose to replace a similar dishwasher hose that had begun leaking, because the particle board cabinet side actually wore through the stainless steel braid and into the hose! Of course that was over a couple decades, but still. Our maximum water pressure is ~50 psi, so I have no idea if it can withstand Eastman's claimed working limit of 125 psi but I wouldn't be surprised. The big box store with a blue and white logo sells this same hose (w/brass adapters) for ~$10 more. Installation note: The instructions say 'finger tight and then 1/4-1/2 turn with a wrench'. Depending on the installer's hand strength and/or any stress on the hose end, "finger tight" may still be loose. Then 1/4-1/2 turn will not be enough. That's not a big deal as long as the leak is noticed and the fitting is tightened properly. It might be better if Eastman said, "Carefully turn fitting with wrench until it just makes contact -- then turn an additional 1/4-1/2 turn. In short, just snug it up. What Eastman is likely trying to avoid is the common belief, 'the tighter the better!' That is definitely not the case here.
