The role that trace and minor elements play with shrimp, other crustaceans and riverine fishes is related to neurological and metabolic processes (in which these elements play critical roles), as well as overall coloration (trace and minor elements are often at the core of pigments known to enhance coloration). Dosing a trace and minor supplement with every water change performed is an effective method of delivering these substances for maximum benefit. Many freshwater shrimps are native to tropical and subtropical waters of Asia, Oceania and Africa. In general, most will thrive in water conditions similar to mose freshwater fish species. Parameters within the following ranges is generally acceptable: pH 6.5 - 7.5; dGH 4 - 6; dKH 3 - 4; however, obtaining the water parameters in which your shrimp were bred and maintaining them in these conditions is the best practice to follow. Certainly, research the web to obtain more specific parameters recommended for the exact species you are keeping. A number of popular ornamental fish species, such as Cardinal Tetras and Neon Tetras, Rasboras, White Clouds, and Glassfish are often found in the same water conditions in which shrimp thrive; hence, ShrimpCode may also be used in aquaria housing these fishes with equal success, as well as catfish species such as pygmy Corydoras, and Kuhli loaches. Review: Great product - Stuff is awesome for my shrimp Review: Packaging was awesome and safe! No leaks! - Not sure of any other complaints but this bottle arrived in perfect condition! Brightwell Aquatics did one hell of a job making sure the package was safe and protected! I've never seen this level of packaging and safety! The bottle did come with the pump already installed which in my opinion is 50/50 good and bad. I would feel more comfortable with a safety seal on the bottle with a cap. The liquid seemed to have a blue tint and didn't necessarily have a scent in my opinion. If the liquid has the minerals it claims then I believe it's a great product. I don't know how I would know but I've not witnessed any bad products from this company yet. I would suggest this product to others!

I think it helps
I really love Brightwell chemicals. They always are so refined and a feeling of purity. This item designed to be dosed at water changes. Everybody should practice caution with hands in the tank. It's super easy to use so I will stay on top of updating time frame updates. Also, when we dose something in any amount we need to remember that it will stay in the water column forever! Ok not forever but point is:.If we can stick to 1 Brightwell and monitor all changes it will work. Weekly water changes.

Shrimp Code helping colonies BOOM!
As a dedicated shrimp keeper with over 10 tanks maintaining optimal water conditions can feel like a constant juggling act. Balancing specific needs for different shrimp while ensuring overall tank health is a challenge. That's where Brightwell Aquatics Shrimp Code has become a game-changer in my shrimp room. The beauty of Shrimp Code lies in its ability to cater to both Caridina and Neocaridina shrimp. It provides a unique combination of beneficial bacteria and prebiotics that promote a healthy gut environment in both these popular shrimp varieties. This is crucial for their digestion, immune system function, and overall health.

Super charge your shrimp
I purchased this after seeing it being used around the hobby. Figured I would give it a try, I noticed over a few month my shrimp were breeding and looking great. Their activity level seem to increase as well. I had problems keep shrimp for a while and this seem to help. I always kept my water parameter's where they should be and the colony would grow and then die off over time. Thus far no deaths so I am happy.
