I have a vintage Wolf Range with a black enamel top, and the more modern looking kettles just don't look right sitting on it. This kettle is almost vintage looking, with a true black body and silver metal trim. It is very lightweight, which is actually a pro as far as I'm concerned, because a spinal cord injury makes it hard for me to lift and carry heavier kettles, once they are filled with water. This kettle definitely feels light when empty, so if you are looking for that heavy feel, then you might not like this. If, however, you have a vintage (or vintage looking) stove, and want something light and easy to lift, this fits the bill. I deducted one star because it does rattle a bit, but not so much as to be really bothersome.
