Are these jars BPA free?

This type of glass is not like mason jars, you should not boil them or put really hot items them, they are made for room temp and frig short term storage, bpa are only when dealing with plastics, good glass is not an issue.

what size candle wick would you recommend using

I use a 6" cotton wick. It gives a nice burn for these jars. You always get a nice burn to the whole circumference of the jar. I only learned this through trial and error.

What is the lid material? I see both plastic and metal lids with the photography/reviews.

I bought the 12 they came with metal lids and when I bought the 24 pack they were plastic lids

Would a 4x3 rectangle label fit on these jars?

4 inch good for around. Jar is 3 inches tall. Might have to cut a 1/4 inch off label
