This book is a systematic guide that requires nothing more than some basic Java familiarity to get yourself comfortable building Spring Boot applications. It feels more like a training manual than a textbook, providing the information needed to build simply and learn by doing. I recommend this to developers of any level looking to pick up Spring Boot quickly.

The grammar and language in this book is terrible. There are whole sections where you can barely understand what the author is saying. A really difficult read and very disorganized. Spend the $$$ on books that employed an editor.

Simply a go-to book for learning application development using Spring Boot. I bought this book to get myself prepared for technical interviews as those are more focused on practical knowledge. Examples having code snippet makes easy to understand development step by step. This book covered definitions, annotations, REST API creation. I also saw how seamlessly the author tried to add resiliency, ELK, Swagger. The security principles are also very well explained! Not sure about other books, but this definitely connected me to various add-ons apart from core spring.

The book is written with really poor English. You basically have to do all the online search yourself in order to understand the concept because you never understand what it says. The book merely serve the purpose of providing a list of topics for you to research, but then why am I paying it if I still have to research myself. Really don't recommend you to buy, I don't even know how can it be published.

For beginners

Probably one stop solution for all spring boot questions, this book helped me understand and create a whole application on my own. Examples are extremely helpful I'm understanding complex concept.
