Can it be returned if it doesn't expand? How is that done? $ back?** A: Unfortunately that is exactly what happened here. I actually gave it 5 days open to the air, and turned the AC in my home up to 78F while I was gone over the weekend. The manufacturing date was February and I received this the end of May. It’s not expanded all the way around but specifically the right half is maybe only 2/3 expanded, so there’s a good 4 inch plus valley. Very disappointing. However. Props to Amazon. I called and within minutes they refunded my purchase. It’s up to me to remove the mattress from my home once I find a new one but I’m pleased that Amazon did what they could to make it right. **Q: What size are the pillows that the mattres come with?** A: For me, male, 205lbs, 6 foot, this pillow was very shallow and useless. The Pillow is std size. **Q: I did not receive two free pillows in the packaging. I received just the mattress. How do I get the two free pillows if they were not included?** A: Mine were wrapped with the mattress, under it when you unroll the mattress. Mattress expanded to full size in about 5 minutes. Minimal off gassing odor, could smell it with nose against mattress. 3 hours later no more odor, and therefore slept on it the day it was delivered.Surprisingly feels like you sleep more on top of the bed than sink in, wife said the same. Still has a plush top layer feel though. Her hip pain was much better throughout night and following morning, she felt better supported and didn’t sink in where that little bit causes alignment issue and subsequent pain. I’ve had two lower back surgeries and woke up feeling better (happen to be going through a flare up now). My spine felt more in alignment on this nectar premier and wife and I both said how comfortable this mattress is on first night. Purchased on a prime day sale and so far we’re both extremely happy to have chosen this bed. After research and assessing my budget, I chose the Nectar Premier. I had momentarily second guessed my mattress selection and wondered if the Hybrid would have been the best solution. Most reviews suggest the Hybrid is better suited for heavy people.Due to the industry leading trial of 365 days and lifetime warranty, I figured I'd at least try the Nectar Premier, besides, it fit my budget better.. The mattress was delivered on time and packaged adequately. I was able to single-handedly unpacked and stage the mattress in the bedframe with minimal struggling. It may have been easier to get my wife's assistance but pride got in the way.I didn't notice any unpleasant odor as some reviews suggest from foam mattresses. The mattress expanded quicker than expected. Nonetheless, we gave it plenty of time to "decompress", about 10 hours.Upon bedtime, our hightened anticipation was met with surpassed expectations. The mattress was much firmer than expected, I assumed it would be a bit too soft. The support was instantaneous and quick to react to shifting positions. The reaction time is amazing, there's little to no feeling of being sucked in and unable to move. I tend to sleep near the edge and found the support to be surprisingly consistent, not once did it feel like I would fall off the bed.Another concern was if we'd sleep hot as reviews suggest, not at all. I purchased a "cooling" mattress cover, bamboo sheets and a light blanket also promoted as cooling. We live in Arizona, sweating at night is quite common. Our first night's sleep was absolutely delightful! I don't recall a similar night full of dreaming in many years. The biggest surprise was not waking up periodically to shift positions due to pain in my back and shoulders. I cannot tell you how much it meant to sleep through the evening so comfortably, waking up feeling rested and without pain and stiffness. Initially, for now...we couldn't be happier! ### ⭐ Complete garbage *by C***S on November 10, 2024* I purchased the king size version of this mattress during Amazon two day prime event in October 2024. The first mattress never reached its full expansion size. The head of the mattress was at least two inches lower than the rest of mattress. The corners and side of mattress also never expanded properly. These defects were noticeable after leaving the mattress in place a full week after purchase. Needless to say I returned this item for a replacement.The pickup of this mattress was another nightmare. Amazon gave me a 9:00a- 12:00p window for pickup. The driver showed up at 10:00a and told me his truck was already full. He said he would return at the end of day to pickup mattress. He never showed up at all on my scheduled pickup day. I was livid. I waited at my house all day for a pickup that never happened. I called Amazon customer service to find out why my mattress was never picked up. They gave me no real explanation only another pickup day. The driver arrived on time and removed the mattress from upstairs bedroom. While bringing the mattress down my staircase the mattress caught my led rail lights installed on baseboard. They destroyed the lights. After calling Amazon customer Service they agreed to reimburse me for the lights. I thought that was fair, but I still had to reinstall the lights on my staircase. You might think after going through this experience with the first mattress why would anyone order a replacement. Shame on me I did. I requested a replacement instead of a full refund.All I really want to say about the replacement mattress is that it is worse than the first. Not only does it have similar problems with expansion it also sags in the middle and has zero edge support. My wife and I slept on it for two nights. I woke up with hip and shoulder pain. My wife said she had a horrible nights sleep on it. I am returning this mattress also. I have requested a full refund.I usually don't write to many reviews on Amazon. I make exceptions to this when product is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. From my experience with two Nectar mattresses this item definitely fits the exceptionally bad category. This mattress might be suitable for a giant dog bed, but not much use for humans.
