What is the star shaped hole on the back of Angus for?

The star peg is so that if you get any of the children Dino 2 packs (core 2 pack assortments, like Jon & Blitz) they can ride these deluxe Dino’s. We wanted to make sure the kid figures in the line can ride all the Dino’s by taking the saddle and placing them on any Dino.
