Super comfortable, no breaking in necessary. Love them!! Review: Comfortable with No break in! - So I really didn't want to order my steel toe boots online bc I knew the risks of them not fitting. So I read reviews. Both here and other venues online. This boot got rave reviews from all fronts. First, and most importantly: they are true to size. I wear a women's US size 6.5 so that's the size I ordered. They fit like a glove! Snug, but not biting. Next and going along with the fit, there is NO BREAK IN PERIOD!! I work 12 hour shifts on concrete floors in a warehouse. I experienced ZERO pain in my feet and ankles the first AND second nights with these on. I wore them every night for the last several nights for 12 hours and still feel absolutely no pain whatsoever. I'm blown away and my coworkers are in disbelief. When I was promoted to a position that required these boots they all warned me about the break in period and how heavy work boots are. After making sure the composite toe was cleared by my company, I was shocked by how much these boots Didn't weigh! They're about the same weight as any of my winter boots, definitely not as heavy as a traditional steel toe. And just as safe, according to my company's safety committee. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone looking for a work boot. And they're absolutely gorgeous too, and every female I work with came up and complimented them. I got the darker brown option (if that's still available). Quality you'd expect from Carhartt and the comfort you need from a work boot! ## Features - Brown oil tanned leather - Cushion Comfort PU insoles provide comfortable support and reduce foot fatigue. - Durable slip-resistant Rugged Flex rubber lug outsole for traction and safety on the job. - Removable Insert To Change Between Medium And Wide Width. - Composite safety toe caps are lightweight, non-metallic/metal detector friendly and non-conductive to heat or cold. I work on all types of surfaces and these have good grip and enough cusion for cement floors **Q: Does the composite toe dig into your foot?** A: No I have had other steel toes that do especially since I kneel down roughly 300 times a day which bends your toes. the toe part is larger looks a little funny cause its kinda large but very comfortable **Q: Would I slip on hard snow like most slip resistant soles?** A: I have never had a problem in the snow with these boots. Ice however is a different story. **Q: Are these heat resistant?** A: I don’t know if they are heat resistant because I work in framing construction, what I can tell you is they are my best working boots I use them every day, already have them for over 2 years and love them, very comfortable, no bad smell in side, water proof, I think is time to have a second pair ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love these *by E***N on 23 January 2025* It’s my 2nd time buying these and I wear them for 9 hours a day until they wear out.
