I had it sent to my son as I did not want to travel with the item and it was going to be used in his hometown location. I saw it this weekend and was I ever disappointed. The wood is very light, almost like a balsa wood type feel, not a heavy cheese board feel. The screws were stripped on one of the cleats, so it was merely used for decoration and not able to be passed with the cleats. The cleats wriggled and were not staple in their drilling holes.I packaged it up and put it within my hard case suitcase to see if I could glue it or fix it somehow when I got home. I just opened my suitcase and the cleats were all off and the screws were laying around in the suitcase.
