Constructed with permanent magnet motors and steel gears, the Max 3500 delivers a reliable performance that users recognize and trust. A great winch for snowplowing, mudding, and riding of all sorts, it has a sealed, 3-stage planetary metal gear train, a 1.4 horsepower permanent magnet, low-amp draw engine, and a 3,500lb pull rating.   Important Safety Features All VIPER Max winches contain safety features including mechanical and dynamic braking systems (automatically hold 100% of the winch capacity & reduce the chance of rope creep when power is applied), a sealed solenoid, and a cabled/tethered remote for safe winching distances.
