This brush is great quality and when I brush my long hair medium size dog it detangles, and her coat is very fluffy. I have bought some expensive dog brushes and this is the best brush so far. Thanks for a great product that really works and at a nice afforable price.

After five long years, I (and my cat) can wholeheartedly endorse this brush! I mainly purchased this brush for its wood base due to it being a natural insulator and preventing static electricity. Other non-wood based brushes, that claimed they were anti-static, were notoriously bad in that aspect. This brush is remarkably durable, despite nearly daily usage on our long-haired cat. The metal rounded bristles are ideal for de-tangling and capturing loose undercoat, while the regular nylon bristles are perfect for the topcoat.

I like this brush, especially the bamboo handle, nice ergonomical grip. Nylon bristles are sturdy enough for good healthy brush outs on my dog's coat and when blow drying after a bath. The metal pin side does help to gently pull out tangles and knots but after 2 uses of this brush at bath time there are already 2 pins missing. At the price of this brush I find this a little concerning and hopefully this brush will hold up over time. I do use the bristle brush side most anyway so not a total deal breaker.

I started to use it on my long haired puppy and she likes it and I think it works well and is gentle on her. Tried it on my cat last night and he loved it. He came back for more and ariived early this morning for even more. He’s a mdeiun haired domestic cat and it pulled out some hair. Amazingly he’s a year old and has never really shed that much. Maybe because he’s basically stress free or I just feed him better food but he doesn’t shed as much as previouscats did. My puppy shouldn’t be shedding. What’s she is losing is breakage from poor nutrition as a baby. Now she’s on a raw diet and you can actually see the difference in the coat as it’s growing. I like this brush because it’s soft but has enough bristle to pull out some hair. I felt her slicker brush was too much for her until she gets her adult coat. I might just get another one.

This brush is amazing. I use it on our cat & golden retriever and my cat LOVES it, my dog also enjoys it! Catches quite a bit of shedding. I’m extremely impressed with this brush. The soft bristles are soft for the more sensitive spots, and the other side is great for the back & chest and all those easily accessible spots that shed a lot. The bamboo seems super durable, I feel like this brush will last forever.

I searched for a pet brush made in the US and found this product. Its product description on Amazon it says bamboo imported and made in San Diego but on receipt the product bag says made in China. The brush is fine but I wanted to buy a US made brush. The company is At Ease is located in Bath Maine and is listed as a small Military Family Business. Please correct the product description to reflect where the product is made,

I am writing about this brush because since we ended up with two shedding dogs and two hairy cats I have been brushes all over the place. First it has rounded bristles which don’t hurt nor me when I catch myself. Second it collects the cat hair. This is not true with all brushes that collect the dog hair. I want to be able to toss it and not having it end up where I have to clean later. One of our adopted cats is very timid. Has been abused I’m sure. She loves this brush. So buy this brush
