Very stale
These cookies have been a great part of my childhood and a the go to cookies when someone comes over for tea.I recently bought them in the UAE from Amazon and these biscuits were stale, as if they were one month old and left drying up in the open air.After a few days in the metal box, the cookies were dry and no longer edible.Will try different brands now.

The real Danish butter cookies
The Royal Dansk and Kjeldsens are the authentic butter cookies n u can taste real butter (28%). Both are under the same parent company, just marketed in different countries.I’ve tried another brand Danisa, which claim to be Danish butter cookies but taste is just inferior. Can’t really taste butter (only 17%), more like milk powder. And too much bicarbonate. I’ve had the Royal Dansk/Kjeldsens since I was a kid n it is a nostalgic taste for me.
