Do they rust in the dishwasher, especially in the tines of the forks?

Not at all. Stainless steel cutlery set won't get rusted. However, to keep them longer, hand washing is high recommended.

To celebrate my daughter's new house, I want to give her this cutlery set. Is it dishwasher safe?
