I love the look of this record player, its a wonderful retro design and would fit perfectly in to any classically designed rooms. The build quality is excellent, the gramophone horn is especially well made and feels sturdy.When first powered up the unit goes into Bluetooth speaker mode. It paired easily with my phone and I was playing music within seconds. Pushing the 'M' button cycles through modes, and then next mode was FM radio. I was able to easily tune in the local radio stations, but can't help but think that a DAB radio would be better. The last mode is the record player. Large and small records fit easily on the turn table and there are 2 speeds available from the switch on the front - 33 or 45. There is a rest for the needle when not in use.The sound comes out of the 2 speakers on the side and from the gramophone horn at the top. The sound quality was okay but average at best, not as good as other Bluetooth speakers on the market.Overall I'm impressed with the look and build quality of the unit but if you are looking for superior sound output I would not recommend. ### ⭐⭐ too expensive *by L***U on 5 January 2022* It's easy to set up and connect but the bluetooth connection did drop out several times with no reason, ipad indicated it was still connected but sound was playing through ipad and not the speakers.Radio signal is goodEasy to change through the modes.sound is odd. I had to turn it up almost to it's full volume to hear the radio clearly but when I switched to bluetooth from the ipad it was deafening! had to turn it almost all the way down to get a comfortable volume.LP plays well but it seems a shame to have the horn and not have sound come from it. It looks like there IS s speaker in there and there seems to be a connected where you attach it but whether I have it attached or not the sound is exactly the same, so other than give it the look of a gramophone i'm not sure what it's meant to do.Looks great, doesn't take up a lot of space but feels like it's priced way too high for what it is.
